Great location, terrible check in

Property is clean and in a great location, made the quick (30 mins with no traffic) drive over to Ana Maria island for the beach. The check in process was a bit of a nightmare due to a disconnect in communication at the front desk. Took an 1 hr and 45 mins to get sorted. Bad experience after a 2 hr drive and kids in the car excited about hitting the beach/pool.

I would not stay at this property again. This is my second time here and has been terrible again. We rebooked our room online and had the day time staff come into our room when we were undressed about a card on file they needed for a whopping $20. I was initially in the shower and they proceeded to come in again. The ac was also set to 74 which had to be changed by the staff so our room was hot. I have never had this happen even at luxury 5 star hotels in Vegas, LA, etc. The night attendant that checked us in upon initial arrival was very nice and welcoming but not the same experience from the day staff. Have NEVER had someone bust in the room not once but twice! Absurd!
