All staff was extremely friendly, and accommodating when we needed something. The staff is this resorts biggest asset. The resort is not luxurious but if you are looking for a place to stay that is close to airport, about 20 minutes to the beach and is tidy this is a great spot. We stayed 4 nights, and would stay again on another quick trip to the area.

Not sure what the negatives reviewers experienced but my husband & I had a wonderful stay. From the delightful & friendly woman at check-in to the clean & quiet room at a very reasonable rate. I always enjoy staying in place that also have charm and the Golden Host Resort had that too - a cool vintage Florida feel. Would highly recommend!

My stay was a good experience. I feel their should be more ice machines around the area Because some people don't feel comfortable walking into a bar to get ice. I also feel extra charges should be communicated before arrival it was shocking to find out even with booking.Through expedia, there was still another hundred and fifty dollar refundable charge .That unplanned charge did put a hindrance on my trip finances.
