Expedia masks email addresses in chats with properties, so you’ll have to figure out how to get the company’s email in the first place.
I was able to overcome this with my Japanese friends’ help, but without that, you may need to send an international text message!
For the property, my room was non-smoking, but my neighbor smoked, so it still smelled of smoke! I don’t know if they were allowed to or not.
When I arrived, some surfaces had dust, like the desk. It was very very slight and I didn’t mind it, but others may.
The room cleaner for my room is very punctual on the check-out time. Make sure to check out before your appointed time else he will be upset!
I did all my communication in Japanese, so I can’t comment on any English capabilities of the property. They did send check-in instructions in English. Also the room cleaner can tell you to get out of the room in English.
