I stayed here for two nights and it was a wonderful choice. The room had a full fridge and mini bar (with items for purchase), as well as an electric kettle with complimentary tea. There were lots of outlets so we could charge up our phones and other devices. The room was quiet and very clean. We actually had our flight cancelled and arrived almost 24 hours after our original check in time. We called to let them know and make sure our reservation wasn't cancelled. Everything was perfect and we ran in to zero problems. The staff spoke English and were patient with my broken Portuguese. The breakfast was included in our stay and well worth it - breads, fresh fruit, fresh squeezed orange juice, yogurt, coffee, pastries, cereal, etc. The dining room was beautiful and the staff there were also very kind.
Mercure Sao Paulo Ginasio Ibirapuera is a nice hotel located in the foot of the Jardins region of the big city of São Paulo, Brazil. It is a clean and safe place for a short stay. The superior floor is a fitness center complete with a sauna and a small pool with a nice view. The hotel is also near the city's lung the Ibirapuera Central Park.
Excellent hotel, well situated close to Iberapuera parc, with nice rooms, excellent restaurant with good service from Henrique, friendly staff and very good breakfast. I felt at home. To be recommended, price quality value
Had a wonderful stay here, very comfortable bed, spacious rooms. We were in room 1303 and had a great view as per the picture's. We had flown from Asia so we loved the dark room and very comfy bed just what we needed. Breakfast was pretty good, room service wasn't great which is the only reason it got a 4 but overall loved it and would stay again.
The reception is friendly. We arrived late at night and had a very tasteful soup in the restaurant. The room is clean and spacious. The breakfast is just what we need - nothing special but very good. The only problem was with my colleague's room: it was really cold and her air conditioner didnt worked for hot (mine was perfect). I will return!
1hr away from GRU airport (150reals for taxi) hotel very small n narrow, but reasonable room size. Room equip with microwave & cff/tea amentiy. Safe box is unserviceable. 2nd day the water wasn't hot. Slow internet connection. Staff, Victor was very friendly. Quick brief what's around the hotel & offered late check out (part of it I'm a silver Accor member) 5-7mins walk to a big supermarket, 15-20mins uphill walk to AV. Paulista & 10mins walk to parque Ibirapuera. Overall was ok. Ibis style Mercure.
This hotel is a very good one. A very goo price with a good hospitality. People when you need any help the hotel worries about your problem and try to do the best to make your problem a solution. Great Hotel !!!
All Hotel Staff are very friendly and go out of their way to help. Recently renovated, Clean Rooms, Gym/Pool/Sauna/Steam Room/Restaurant . Taxis always available, if not reception calls one for you. Location close for business & entertainment Amenities (Ibrapuera Park, Paulista Shopping Center, museum & Variety of restaurants). Pao de Acucar, a Major Brazilian supermarket is within walking distance. Excellent and as mentioned its A Home Away from Home
Everything just perfect. Staff allways smiling. Apt just the right size.Enough space to work and to rest. BAthroom Ok witht the right amount of amenities. Would definately recommend for leisure as well.
There is a new reality: Brazil is no longer the "water world". We learned in school that water was so abundant here...well not any longer.... The Accor Group should be very aware about water conservation, after all, they are from Europe and we know well that water was never their greatest resource, quite the oposite. The shower head in the bathroom would make Niagara Falls envious.... And when trying to keep it running into a minimun amount, the water would hit the backwall. Hopefully somebody in the organization will wake up and realize they have to revamp all the shower heads. At least the toilet bowl had two options of flushing...
