This is an excellent hotel - always very clean, well decorated and efficient. The location is excellent. It is also always a pleasure to be greeted at check-in by Maestro! He is very welcoming, efficient and kind!
I just want to take this opportunity to thank Maesta for his incredibly friendly greeting when we arrived to the hotel. He made check-in so easy and we felt very welcomed. An attitude like this creates an ambiance that makes the whole trip start off on a good note and I am a true believer of good energy creating a better world. Thank you Maesta and looking forward to my next trip back to the Intercontinental S.P.!!!
I travel a lot for business and leisure. When I travel with my family, I always stay at InterContinental Hotels to avoid any unpleasant surprises. No matter where we travel, we are sure that we will get the high quality InterContinental service. Thus, Sao Paulo was not an exception. The hotel’s location is good and service is excellent. Check-in was fast, front-desk staff were very professional. Mr. Maesta and his co-workers did their best to accomodate our family. Many thanks for everything. We loved Sao Paulo, hope to visit your lovely city again in the future. Attila Köksal
I up graded to a suite with an extra living room, even so the room was small and the entire property has low ceilings like older buildings. Nice lobby and ok restaurant. It has a nice big gym in the lower level. Not expensive, priced right. Close to the residential area but in the exclusive area (close).
Hotel is central whether you are there for business or pleasure. Rooms are large and modern and the breakfast spread is impressive. Wifi is really quick too and staff is helpful and speak English. In such a huge city, they were able to help us find places of interest and safety tips. It's pretty close by taxi to most major attractions (vila madalena, jardin, downtown and shopping areas) and there are also bicycles available. The gym is fantastic.
The only Intercontinental hotel in Brazil is new renovated and has one of the best and modern rooms available in busy Sao Paulo city! I stayed at this hotel in 2016 but my stay was not that great. Now it was a great stay. The rooms are very modern with a nice and big bathroom and separate tube and shower and the bed is delicious for a good night sleep. Also had my upgraded Deluxe King Plus room a really nice balcony with stunning views to Paulista Avenue. The Club Lounge on the top floor of the hotel is one of the best I have experienced so far in SP. All day hot food and nice snacks and a strong happy hour during the evening with a huge selection of food and nice drinks. Even fresh made Caipirinhas. The hotel offers also a modern gym and a small pool to take a bit sun and timeout from busy Sao Paulo. Can't wait to be back. Muito Obrigado for the great time.
My stay at Intercontinental was awesome due to the excellent and quality service provided by the hotel and a special thanks to Maesta for helping me on finding restaurants and sightseeing attractions in Sao Paulo during my stay. The breakfast was awesome and i thank Maesta and the rest of the staff of Intercontinental for providing me with excellent service and this hotel definitely deserves a 5 star and it serves and provides one of the best quality hotel services in Brazil.
Convenient location and well maintained as usual as the intercontinental brand. Good for business travel with free WiFi. Comfortable bed and pillows. Uber drivers may not know to turn into the driveway for pickup.
I just came back from another memorable stay at my preferred hotel, in this great city. As always, I were warmly welcomed by the most professional, and dedicated personnel. Starting upon arrival by the bell captain, Mr. Manoel, who greeted me effusively. At the front office both Renata and Paula, checked me in with their usual kindness and personalized attention. Also Mr. Maesta, who is a great asset to the hotel, surprised me as I were allocated my favorite high floor room. Mr. Elton, now managing the "Tarsila" restaurant, is always the extraordinary, and right person to get good advises on food and beverage treats at the hotel, like the brunch on Sundays. Can't help but to still recommend this great hotel to my family, friends and associates, not only for its prime location, nice facilities and amenities, but above all because of the excellent personalized service bestowed to guests by the staff. I will, certainly, be returning to the InterContinental Sao Paulo, whenever I'll visit this vibrant city
The service is amazing, the people serving you are the best so far in this country, and they do care! The Breakfast is very good. The upper room (the one I stayed) is more than just good There are 2 minor disadvantage: The swimming pool is not a good one and there is no SAUNA in the hotel. I would say that it is worth “giving up” on these 2 small luxuries because the hotel in general is excellent and the service no less than outstanding
