Although room was very small, this could be because it was over-crowded with furniture (who needs a TV while staying in Santorini?) and it was sufficient for a good night's sleep and stayed cool and shaded all day. The bathroom was clean and not too cramped. The room had wooden French door that allowed air to circulate and opened directly into the communal sitting area and the pool (although there was little separation between smoking and non-smoking guests). Management's photos on here show the rooms to be much larger and brighter than they really are. Receptionist was very eager to provide information and advice. Great location, fairly central and less than 10 minutes' stroll from the bus station and markets. Some general advice: Santorini is best enjoyed on foot and by bus (don't be persuaded to hire an ATV!)

The hotel is near bus station and 10 min to city center. Shower is available after checkout in a separate bathroom. You can leave bags at reception. Water from shower is a bit salty. The room looked new and the bed was comfortable. I recommend this hotel for a stay in Fira!

Location is great - 5 minutes walk to Fira town for restaurants, shops and the caldera view. We organised a pick up for 20euro from airport which is actually only a 5-10 minute drive! There are buses but not that often and full! Clean rooms, AC, hairdryer, small but functional bathroom, towels and door to pool area with seating.

Pension Petros is a very nice place to stay in Santorini Location is fantastic (less than 5 minutes walking from Fira's main attractions and from bus station, which will lead you anywhere on the island) Rooms are very comfortable. Soundproof could be better, but it is in a quiet street so apart from other hotel rooms, it is very quiet Staff is very friendly and helpful. They gave us tons of tips about the island, helped us plan our stay and organized quad rental for us. Wouldn't go anywhere else if I go back to Santorini!!

Excellent location, within walking distance to center of town, bus station, shops, eating. Beautiful town. Pension Petros' staff was very informative about anything you wanted to know and suggested best times for their recommendations. They accommodated us right away with an extra cot. Whole place was cleaned. Room was cleaned and bathroom accessories, including clean towels were changed every day. We were on the ground floor and had a nice shady terrace to take a break from the sun. There was such a breeze! If we go back to Fira, this would be the place!

The beds were comfy, its easy to find, close to everything, cute and clean facilities. The most memorable part of this hotel and why I would return is the staff. They offered so many GREAT suggestions and were so kind. They took their time to get to know our interests and made specific suggestions each of which was individually a highlight of our trip! I would definitely recommend staying here! Make sure to take their many recommendations to heart! They are very worth your time!

I loved this hotel for several reasons: 1.Its place: 10 min from bus stop 5 min from the main square 2. Staff: Staff is very pleasant and warm, they helped us to figure out which places are worth visiting in Santorini, where are the best restaurants with the best prices and food and were always there with any help <3 3. Small hotel with a cozy pool A nice place to cool during the hot day. Mind that they do not serve meals.

Very clean, had a fridge, air-conditioning, bathroom with shower, lots of hot water, kettle. We had room 17 which was very snug. Double bed pushed up against the wall. Small swimming pool under hotel. Had it to myself. Not very big but nice when you have it to yourself. Nice and clean. Sun loungers around pool area. Reception were very good, informative, went and asked for extra pillows, which were given gladly. They rang a taxi for us for the ferry port and it came right on time. A short walk into town and to the bus station. Also short walk to the Calder. Would definitely stay again but would request a larger room.

We had a great 3 night stay at Pension Petros. We booked one of the last rooms left on booking.com about 3 weeks before our stay. The day before we were due to arrive, the hotel emailed offering to book a taxi to or from the port/airport for €20. They didn't email back with a confirmation so we were a little unsure if it would be there, but we were greeted at the airport by our name on a card and a driver. It took about 20/25minute from airport to hotel and same from the ferry port. Although we are unsure if this is above the usual price it was worth it and made our transfers very easy. The hotel is in a perfect location for exploring and feels very safe. It is about 2 minutes walk to the main square, 5 minutes to the shopping lanes, restaurants, views and about 5 minutes to the local bus stop where you can get buses to Perissa, Kamari, Oia and more. If travelling to Oia for the sunset make sure you prebook a return taxi or have your own transport, as buses back to Fira get super (crazy) busy. The hotel recommended a few restaurants, such as Spring in Kamari which we did try, but they weren't great so maybe look them up before you go. We had an Economy double room in the semi-basement which was basic but nice and clean. The room included: air con, hairdryer, fridge, small tv, dressing table, mirror, wardrobe/hangers and a kettle. The wifi signal was poor but this was probably due to the fact we were on a lower ground floor. The bathroom was very small but again clean. The towels are changed (they're not the softest!) and beds are made everyday. Small soap and shampoo/shower gels are provided and also topped up everyday. For lower floor rooms, double doors open out onto a shared porch where you have a table and chairs for each room. In terms of noise, you can hear doors closing and people speaking but nothing major. The covered pool area is quite small and doesn't get much sun but the beaches are within easy reach so it didn't matter to us. I don't think I'd recommend it if you are looking to lounge around the pool all day. Overall it is a great base and I'd definitely recommend it for the affordability, location and cleanliness.

My 2 friends and I stayed at Pension Petros for 2 nights while in Santorini and it was a great stay! We booked through Expedia and confirmed with the family that owns the hotel. They were very nice and accommodating when we arrived. We arrived pretty early so they allowed us to put our bags down and we had breakfast down the street and rented ATVs while waiting. The room was small and clean and had a nice patio/balcony area. I felt very safe in the hotel even at night. The ladies at the desk were very helpful with giving us suggestions for things to do and provided maps and brochures for the island. They even were able to provide us with beach towels when we were going on a boat trip! This was in perfect walking distance to the heart of Fira, we were able to go out one night and felt comfortable on our short walk back and even during the day it was a good location to the center of town. I would definitely stay here again.
