It's sea facing rooms gives your mind blowing mesmerizing view, nice swimming pool they have, good choices in breakfast, only drawback is it's far from Fira, they can provide drop (chargeable), overall nice hotel.
I enjoyed my trip here at orizontes villas. The staff were amazing! Especially katerina! She gave great recommendations and the best directions! I completely felt at home although I was thousands of miles away! Anything we needed the staff had readily available. I will forever be thankful for this experience and hope to visit soon! Thank you katerina for everything! This was the best trip ever. Oh and I can't forget the sunsets from our villa they were unreal!
Very friendly and polite staff, caring to ensure that the visitor is satisfied. The room was quiet and spacious, with great view and good ambience. Convenient location, close to local shops and market, 10mins drive from the town.
This hotel is nearby the village where it’s just a walking distance to local shops and restaurants, to local tourist attractions and the main town. Ideal for those who likes jogging and a quite place for escapades. Hotel room is good for couple with a child, water and wifi are provided for guests. The shower is quite tight for bigger built person. There is a swimming pool near the restaurants. Breakfast food selections is reasonable, and I especially its local fruits. Staff are friendly and speaks English. I enjoyed staying there.
We had a very nice time at this hotel. We were given an excellent room with wonderfull views. Ideal base from which to visit everywhere on the island. We walked everywhere. There is a supermarket 2 mins away. 2 very good reasonably priced resteraunts within 10 mins walk.
First of all the hotel exceeded my expectations in the best way!! The hotel staff were beyond accommodating. They taught me Greek, they were incredibly friendly, gave the best recommendations on food and places to visit on the island. From the front desk crew (both daytime and evening ones) to the bartender to the amazing gentleman that does the transfers (Jimmy) to the housekeepers!! I recommend this hotel and I will be back!! This hotel is a must visit and so is the village. -Angela
Katy at reception is so friendly, she made everything so smooth and convenient for our stay. Good recommendation as well as thoughtful care. In addition, there's nice view for the breakfast venue. Room was clean and spacious,
Hotel is extremely nice with a beautiful pool, the only problem is that it is a 40min walk into Thira. There are quad bikes available for hire from the hotel. Staff were friendly and willing to help. Transfers into Thira are available, but cost 10 euro each way.
Katharine at the front desk is terrific! She warmly welcomed a group of us from a cruise ship. We all had nice rooms that were very private. The buffet breakfast is delicious and the view of the caldera is amazing. It is not is a tourist area of the island which was more relaxing. Very easy to take public transportation around the island from the hotel.
We had a couple issues at first. We were supposed to have twin beds and they gave us a queen. We inquired and were told "don't do anything"! We unpacked some anyway and washed our face and used the bathroom. We didn't hear back, so my girlfriend went back to desk and stood there until the desk clerk said to go have a couple of complimentary drinks at the bar. When we returned, she said she could give us another room with twins. It wasn't as nice and view not good from balcony, so we accepted the queen and were happy. The bed and pillow wasn't the best, but we were happy with the room and views and pool area amazing. Breakfast was fine. I learned everywhere in Greece, the eggs aren't good. She had us a to go lunch in am when we had to take off early for the Airport. I would stay here again and if you do, you have to check out the local restaurant, Mylopetra. Authenic greek food and gracious family that runs it. We got to go on "Greek night' with music and some dancing and it was the highlight of our trip!
