Just stayed at the Gold Suites at Imerovigli in Santorini. The location was majestic. You get the highest aspect of the Caldera from this location. The hotel is has great rooms, excellent and friendly service from all of the staff. It's within walking distance to Fira and a number of restaurants. If you want a private, less congested place to stay, that's greta value but is a quality hotel, I can recommend Gold Suites.

Without doubt Santorini is the most amazing place I've ever been. I couldn't fault Gold Suites at all. There are some amazing places to stay on the island and I am happy with the choice we made. We were given a room upgrade which we were very grateful for, my only gripe is that the sun in October didn't hit the pool area until 11am, and our room until after 1pm, simply because of the way it faced. Overall though, very pleased and it was truly the holiday of a lifetime.

I am writing this review from our second Santorini hotel stay in Oia where the contrast to our stay at Gold Suites is night and day. We booked a Superior suite and upon arrival were assigned Room #3. I booked through SLH and was told transfer from airport was complimentary. It was 50E...if ur counting that’s $10 a mile. Our room was a decent size with a bed area and an adjoining seating area with sofa table and TV. Bathroom was small and tired. Shower had no place to put anything except on floor. There were toiletries but no bar soap. There were two bath and hand towels, no wash clothes. My wife asked for another set of towels on day 2 and the maid said she couldn’t give them to her. The patio was large but totally enclosed with two arched openings and a 3 foot square column in between. Obstructed view was toward Oia and northeast where the rooms below us were angled south toward the volcano. Patio had a spa in one corner and a table and two chairs. When I asked about lounge chairs I was told there were none. We came to Santorini for the sun..there was none on the patio. We ordered our wine and fruit for our second night at six to watch the sunset. It was not delivered and the sunset took place behind the pillar on the patio. I complained about the room and heard nothing further. A very disappointing experience. I must add that the staff were all very nice, especially Dina at the front desk.

WOW! We had a perfect stay at the Gold Suites! It was our 5th anniversary and what a way to celebrate it... We had a room with a private heated pool and beautiful caldera view! The breakfast is served to the room and the staff were so nice and friendly. The bus stop (1.8 euro for a ride to Oia or Fira) was close and there is plenty of parking spaces around if you rent a car. Amazing stay :)

What a pleasurable experience. I'm still thinking very fondly of our time here. There's something special about Santorini, in general, but Gold Suites far superseded our expectations. I simply can't wait to return.   Firstly, as far a location goes, it really doesn't get any better. It's strategically perched high atop the hillside in Imerovigli, with sweeping, unobstructed views of the Aegean. This allows for some breathtaking sunset views (without necessarily having to venture elsewhere; it's a perfect spot). We were fortunate enough to have the two suites which are situated poolside and almost felt like we had the entire area to ourselves, including the bar. Vasilis, our barman, for thankfully our entire trip was simply delightful. He was very courteous and personable and, catered to our every whim.   And speaking of the staff, they’re a brilliant bunch. They made our trip even more memorable. Konstantinos and Dina upfront were simply lovely. Konstantinos welcomed us warmly and offered us glasses of bubbly upon our arrival (a nice touch, I thought), gave us a brief orientation of the hotel and then helped with our bags when he was through.   Our suites were fairly spacious (with more than enough room for 2); the cappuccino maker was a good addition as well as the designer bath products stocked in the bathroom. Other than that, your standard offerings were present. Breakfast was a delightful affair. You can order your selections the evening before and have them delivered in the morning at your specified time. We took this daily out on the terrace overlooking the pool and the sea. It was always something lovely to look forward to.   An excellent time – hope to return.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Gold Suites. My husband and I came with my sister in law and her husband and stayed in adjoining junior suites. Every morning we had breakfast either on the balcony overlooking The Caldera or in our suite. Good choice on the breakfast menu but sometimes don't always get everything you order. Gold Suites is in a very good location with Fira and Oia a bus ride away in each direction. Dina the receptionist was extremely helpful in every aspect and the waiters extremely efficient and friendly. This was a very good holiday made even better by staying at the Gold Suites.

Fantastic time at this Hotel wonderful staff very helpful, big shout out to Dina at reception always willing to help as are all the staff, this is my second stay at this Hotel and would like to return at some time in the not to distant future.

My time here was pure magic. The highlight of my entire trip to Greece. They take customer service very seriously and everyone was so friendly and willing to help with whatever issue we may have had. The only complain I have is of the tap water, but to make up for this they brought bottled still water for us frequently. The views were amazing, the food was so delicious. I will definitely be coming back!!!!!and I'll advise people to visit if they are ever in Santorini. Wow! Thank you so much

We stayed in a gorgeous little boutique suite with a jacuzzi in the balcony--the very top one which was nice for a bit more privacy! The place was clean, and the service was top notch. It was so sweet to find our room with water bottles and a small treat on our night stands... the receptionists at every hour were so pleasant and helpful--booking excursions, ATVs, rides to and from the airport, and helping us get to know the area a bit more. Breakfast every morning was the sweetest which included an array of sweet breads and whatever you ordered the night before/morning of. We never got to using the community pool since our room and view was already amazing. The air conditioning was buggy but eventually fixed. It's close to Skaros rock, which we hiked during an early morning exploration. The views are breathtaking, food is delicious, service is on point, rooms are nicely decorated,.. what more can you ask for?!

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights as the last stop on our honeymoon. We spent 6 nights total in Santorini, and our first 3 nights were in Oia. Of the 2, Gold Suites was our favorite. The staff here is amazing, you are always greeted with a smile and asked how your day is. We stayed in a deluxe suite with private pool and sea view, and WOW was the room beautiful. It was huge, with a separate living room area, a huge comfy bed, and the pool off the balcony was just amazing. We were worried about privacy with the pool/balcony area, but it was tucked far enough back that the room on the other side of us couldn't really see us, and people walking the streets/stairs couldn't really see into the space either. They provide you with everything you might forget while traveling, including a toothbrush kit and even a loofah for the shower. A fresh fruit platter and complimentary bottle of wine was waiting for us in the room. Such attention to detail, you can tell this place really cares about taking care of their guests. There was a slight issue with the shower- the shower head didn't seem to be working properly, and instead of a rainfall, it was one hard stream of water from the center, almost like it needed to be cleaned out. Our room was downstairs, so at night we could hear the people walking up/down the stairs, could hear anyone talking in the foyer area, and could sometimes hear the guests in the room next to us. Those would be my only 2 complaints. The food at this place is out of this world delicious, and breakfast was so good! Delivered to our room, served on our balcony every morning, and was still warm. You HAVE to get the pancakes, they are like a dessert. We did not eat at the restaurant, but based on the breakfast/lunch I'd assume it's really good. You can walk to Fira from the hotel, it took us about 30 minutes. Not the easiest walk in the heat, but it is doable. The area itself is relatively quiet and there's not a ton to do around the hotel, so I'd recommend renting a car and going to Oia and Fira.
