Agree with all the recent reviews here. Lovely small hotel with great staff and an ideal location. The photos on the site basically tell you all you need to know. Breakfast was lovely and brought to the room every day. The housekeeping was great - clean sheets and towels every day of our week long stay. The manager Rafaella was lovely. She looked after our luggage on our final day after check out, found us somewhere to change that evening before our taxi arrived and lent us beach towels for our boat trip which she helped us to arrange. Otherwise we used the good local bus service which went from the end of the road. Lots of great restaurants in the village - I would advise booking earlier in the day to get the time you want. We would definitely stay here again.
Casa Bianca is a small (9 rooms) boutique style B&B. There is no spectacular view from the property but a 2 minute walk takes you to the edge of the caldera. There are several bars and restaurants and a small supermarket close by. It is not possible to drive close to the property but there was adequate parking about 300m away. As for Casa Bianca itself it is superb. The three rooms our family had were pretty similar with a fridge and kitchen type sink. The rooms were spotless and all the linen was changed every day of our five night stay. The shower room was small but perfectly adequate with a hairdryer supplied. The small pool was cold in October but sunbeds and towels were supplied and the patio area cleaned twice a day. The reception is open all day with a contact number supplied for "out of hours". The staff were all unfailingly polite. Breakfast was ordered the previous day and delivered on a tray to your room in a time slot of your choice. There were cereals, fresh fruit, yogurts, breads and pastries and omelette, boiled or scrambled eggs. It was lovely to sit outside our room ( number 5, good for the sun!) and eat. I cannot recommend Casa Bianca highly enough. Truly excellent all round.
What a lovely B&B. Very pretty, well maintained. Very friendly staff and helpful. What an ideal location for a short walk to the fantastic views of the Caldera. Breakfast brought to your room every morning is such a great feeling, just throw on your complimentary gown and slippers and move to your private balcony. Then after breakfast onto the private terrace to enjoy the morning sun. Only minor thing was how windy it could be but on the highest point on the island this is to be expected. The room was small but had everything we needed including a fridge for our water and other drinks. The bathroom was small with only a very small shower and this would probably be our only moan. Not much on the tv but we weren't in such a beautiful place to watch tv. The bed was perfectly comfortable and slept well, every night.
This b&b is right on the opposite side of the amazing views of Imerovigli, santorini. It takes two minutes walking to be in the vision of stunning beauty. It's super close to a super market and many good restaurants, and the bus stop to get around the island is just a minute or two walk. The place itself is so delightful with everything being white and the immaculately kept grounds. The only thing that I would report as a negative was the close proximity to other patrons. It is a very small area but because I was travelling solo, it was not an issue. Had my husband been with me, I'm not sure I would've liked that.
What an absolutely delightful "hotel". It's not at all hotel - like though. If you are after a quiet and immaculately kept property on the hectic island of Santorini then this is it. Situated atop the cliffs at Imerovigli but not hanging off like the overpriced luxury villas. A 2 min walk around the back and the Most stunning views await your camera. Dont be talked into trekking 8km to Oia to see the sunset. It is perfect here. Charming spotless rooms and cosy courtyard await. Plunge pool for cooling down. Beautiful breakfast tray brought to your own sitting area. Very nice staff and a number of excellent restaurants a walk away. Dont miss Avocado, Mezza or a few others on the cliffs near Spillotica. Casa Bianca fits the bill perfectly. We are in our early sixties and appreciated the beauty and tranquility of this place. Location 10/10. Hike along cliff walk to Fira town and many picturesque spots along the way. Dont miss Casa Bianca!
We did not book this hotel because we booked there sister hotel Astor Palce, when we arrived at Astor Palace we were informed there were issues with a guest and our room was not available so they took us out of town down to Kamari and put us up at Casa Bianca in a junior suite with outside spa. Initially we were a bit put off but it turned out to be a blessing in disguise as we don't believe we would have even got down to Kamari, so for us it was a bonus. Not only did we get a very nice suite, but when we got back to our intended hotel we were also upgraded to a beautiful Junior Suite which is outstanding. CASA Bianca is in a great location and only a 2 minute walk and you are in the heart of Kamari, restaurants, bars and plenty of shops to choose from. Condition of the rooms were great, very clean and comfortable Only stayed for one night, but was a pleasure
I was quite surprised when we visited this hotel last month. It has such great reviews on tripadvisor, so I booked with confidence. I was completely unhappy with the amenities, location, and customer service. The beds were small and uncomfortable. The shower was so small that it sprayed the entire bathroom floor. They only provided one tiny bar of soap for our three night stay. I had to ask for more toilet paper. For a hotel with no view, and a reasonable bus-ride from the real destinations of Santorini, it should be comfy and cozy, which it was not.
My girlfriend and I stayed at Casa Bianca between 27 July and 3 August 2017 and had an excellent stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean, the poolside was relaxing and the decor was superb, particularly the lanterns at night. We had an excellent breakfast delivered to our room at a chosen time each morning and included additional items we had requested. We initially were given room 5 which opened onto the poolside. Whilst the room in general was spacious, the shower in here was disappointing. Rafaela moved us to room 1 after two days without requesting a room change. This was an even larger room and the bathroom and shower were fantastic. The patio was also much more private and we were often paid visits by a kitten called Niko who I believe belonged to the hotel. Rafaela was excellent and helped us to arrange a wine tour with Santorini Wine Tour, which we would also recommend to visitors to the island. My only recommendation would be to improve wifi connectivity in the rooms upstairs as the connection was quite weak. On the whole, this was an excellent trip and we would certainly return.
I came to Casa Bianca with my wife for our honeymoon and the place is just fantastic! Every room has ocean view. The employees are always kind. You select everyday what you want for breakfast and the time you want it and it is served at your door. You can enjoy it with a breath taking view. The place is very nicely located if you want to go take the famous hike to Oia to see the sunset. Alot of good restaurants around the hotel. I recommend 100%!
Such a gorgeous place, so clean and lovely! Rafaela made us feel very welcome - even though we arrived very late after a delay, we had water, wine and cake waiting for us in the fridge. The rooms are lovely and spacious, and the pool area is small but so beautiful with the bougainvillea everywhere. Me and my boyfriend hired a quad for the 4 days we were in Santorini and Rafaela organised all this for us, she made everything so easy. The location is great as its very close to both Oia and Thira (approx 15 mins by quad). and Immerovigli has some incredible caldera views - would highly recommend Casa Bianca.
