Staying here was one of the best hotel experiences we've ever had! Kind and proffesional staff, great hotel area and room, nice pool and bar. We also spendt some time by the pool at main hotel, which was an equally pleasent experience.
My wife and I celebrated part of our honeymoon in Santorini and are so glad we chose to stay at Villa Katikies. To start off, the staff at the hotel is amazing and so accommodating, from the front desk staff to the servers and housekeeping they all offered great hospitality. Kostantino and Fontini were of most help to us during our stay and were at our disposal for any questions that we had during our trip. Kostantino was able to arrange all of our trips and excursions for us once we asked what we wanted to see, and he gave us excellent recommendations on restaurants, wineries, and sites to visit on the island. The hotel has a prime location in the middle of Oia and yet when we would return to our room it would feel so secluded and peaceful. We definitely enjoyed all the amenities of our room and loved having a jetted tub to use. It was also so great to have our breakfast brought to our room to enjoy with the stunning view from the Villas. Another great thing about staying at the Villas is that you have full access at the sister property Katikies Hotel which has great pools and an awesome brunch buffet. If we could do our trip to Santorini again we would definitely stay at Villa Katikies, excellent property and excellent service.
We absolutely loved the setting, the view and the ambience at Villa Katikies. The staff from reception to wait personnel were charming, friendly and efficient. I feel bad about not giving 5 stars but would just have to say that when paying 2,100 Euros for a three night holiday that expectations are going to be high on all aspects of the stay and I felt the bedroom was not quite at the level that one might expect. There was really nowhere to store luggage and the room itself was on the small side. The outdoor seating area was lovely and the view from there quite spectacular.
The people, service, & surroundings create memories for a lifetime. The people were very kind, thoughtful and willing to provide a memorable experience. The service was forward looking and always anticipating our needs. The surroundings were relaxing, fulfilling, and breathtaking. I will miss the people I encountered and look forward to my next visit. I have my pictures and videos to remind me about my 30 year anniversary. I also have my memories shared with my wife that will be treasured forever.
My wife and I stayed at Villa Katikies for three nights during our honeymoon, and our only complaint is that we didn't stay for longer. From the pickup at the airport to the dropoff at the ferry, everything was first-class. The service and quality were excellent, and we will definitely be back someday.
The staff were simply incredible. They caterred to our every need, wouldnt even let us lift a finger. The view was literally unbelievable and the breakfast was the best of any hotel we have ever stayed at. Costa at the reception was super friendly and the manager Nick had amazing hospitality. Very well done.
My husband and I just spent our honeymoon here and it was amazing! The staff was so attentive and helpful, especially Kostas! We loved it and would highly recommend to anyone who wants to experience Santorini!
Katikies really made my Santorini trip complete. It's close to the famed Katikies Hotel, where you can also access their restaurants, breakfast (included) and pool facilities, but it's far more secluded. We had a private terrace equipped with a hot tub that gave us magnificent views of the Caldera. The breakfast at the hotel is amazing. Probably one of the best menus in all of Greece. While some might want to take the option of ordering in, I highly recommend ordering at the poolside as the menu is much larger and the service is excellent. My favorite part was having Kosta as our evening receptionist. He was extremely accommodating, super reliable and treated my wife with absolute respect. We were particularly troublesome our first night, and he never hesitated to run around to help with our every need. This is definitely one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had.
too many bugs in the cave and at the pool area. Leaking showers into outside common areas making the villa not as beautiful as it should have. Villa and hotels should both be upkept to the same standards. For the price we paid, we expected better upkeeping of the villa.
First trip to Santorini and we unfortunately found ourselves with rainy weather for the time we were there. We booked everything beforehand including a yacht cruise around the island, and when we had to cancel, the reception was unhelpful in suggesting alternatives for things to do or see. If they suggested anything, it was ridiculously overpriced private tours that start at $300 USD. When asking about specific tour companies in the area, they refused to provide any additional insight since they partner with only one on the island. Even when it came to suggesting transfers to and from the airport, their one recommendation was at double the price of what we paid, which was €30 for 2 people. The breakfast, though included, is only available a la carte at the Villas and selection is limited. We ended up going to Hotel Katikies about 5 minutes away for better service and one of the best breakfasts we had on our trip. They have a more sizable operation at the Hotel while the Villas really only has 1-2 people on staff at a time and there’s no distinct concierge. Knowing what I know now, I would have stayed at the Hotel Katikies instead.
