Spent 6 nights at Reverie and was an excellent stay all around. For starters, the airport transfer is cheap and convenient, right on time there and back, which is big considering taxis are super expensive in Santorini. Once we got to the hotel, we were greeted by Elias who was extremely nice and helpful. The whole hotel is family-run and they really show pride in their work. Our bags were taken care of and we were shown around the property after being served a complimentary homemade drink which was delicious. The hotel itself is very nice and quaint. We asked for a crib and was taken care of no problem. Room was clean, showers are nice and the hotel is very quiet. Kitchen area is small, but functional. The pool is great but not heated, which I don't think is a problem later in the season, but was a bit chilly at times at the beginning of June. Breakfast was great and very convenient also. The location of the hotel is very central, close to walk to Fira and the bus station, but not so crazy busy if you were actually staying in Oia or Fira. But the best part of the entire hotel is the balcony with an amazing view of the Caldera. It was great sitting up there every night and meeting other guests and enjoying the sunset. All in all, it was a great experience. The entire family treated us as if we were part of it, especially our infant son who they all were so nice to. Great stay!
Located in the center of Firostefani and has everything you need within walking distance, such as the main town Fira and the old port for some tours. The highlight was the host, Elias, who from the moment we arrived gave us loads of information about the island and different activities available. Walked us around the hotel and made sure we were happy with our room plus a in-house brewed welcome drink (with a small bottle in our room). The rooftop area has an amazing view of the sunset so you don’t need to go to Oia. There were a number of little things that just added to the experience such as lit tea light candles around the common areas, organizing activities through reception, supplied swimming towels, local recommendations and checked how everything was each time he saw us.
Reverie, their entire family and team, especially Elias, hosted us for a delightful 3 nights in Santorini! Thank you! Centrally located but a bit North of the most tourist traffic, Reverie's hotel is delightful: clean, modern, comfortable -- everything we needed plus great service from the hosts. They arranged all our local tours and on-island transfers, recommended good places for dinner. Their dinner recommendations were excellent! Good breakfasts, and a delightful pool at which to relax after a hot day. Thank you! We shall return to Reverie on our next Santorini trip!
Excellent location, small family run hotel who appear to go out of their way to help you in whatever way they can. The hotel has a roof terrace which any hotel guest is free to use which offers some fantastic views of the sunsets over the caldera. The hotel has restaurants and shops aplenty upon its doorstep and is only a 10 minute walk away from Thira where the port is. Would highly recommend and would willingly stop here again if we revisit
I have been to Santorini 3 times, each time I have picked hotels with killer views(that I didn’t really use) and killer price tags. This time my knees could not cope which is why I picked this place. The entrance is on the road below which is just 2 flights of stairs, the back entrance is on the walking track, perfect. It is a family run business by a lovely family, the daughter runs the front desk and she will go out of her way to assist. The nephew, Ilias went out of his way to assist, as we were traveling with mother who just had a knee replacement, he could not find a taxi to take us 1 km, they were asking for big bux, he found a way. It has a great pool, very clean and you are in the heart of Firostefani.
We have just had a lovely week at the Reverie Santorini. We’d highly recommend the hotel . The location is great - in the heart of Firostefani and a short walk to Fira and Imerovigli. The highlight of the hotel has to be the team. Nothing is too much trouble. They’re so helpful and gave us some great recommendations about tours, restaurants etc. The hotel has a roof top seating area where you get great view of the sunset without having to fight the crowds. Thanks so mum for a lovely stay .
My 5 night stay at the Hotel Reverie was amazing! Nikolina and family/staff were friendly, wonderful and very helpful with planning my stay and organizing some tours. Rooms were very clean, breakfasts were great. Everyone was very accomodating and eager to help. Reverie is a perfect place to stay, excellent location and very close to Fira and yet a quiet retreat! I would definitely stay again when I return! Many thanks!
I stayed here in 2013 and had no hesitation in returning. It was great to recognise the same family. I did look at other hotels in the same area that had a pool overlooking the Caldera however they were much more expensive. Nice pool area here just not facing the caldera. We had room 1 which had a view of the caldera. The bathroom was small and it was hard not to get water all over the floor. The living area was spacious and the upstairs bed had a spacious sitting area. Air conditioning was upstairs and did not adequately reach floor below. Kitchenette area and balcony were great. Breakfast was lovely and good value. Staff very helpful and location excellent. 10 minute walk into Fira.
We have just returned from an 8 night stay at the family run Reverie Hotel and we would rate it highly. The family were friendly, informative and really helpful. They will answer every query you can think of! Room was spacious and cleaned every day. Beach towels are free to use. Any request we had was fulfilled! Pool is small but very refreshing! We used the roof terrace was every eve, fantastic views and great for a beer and a chat whilst waiting for the sunset. Nice restaurants along the front (various price ranges) and Two Brothers bar was our favourite by far! We booked the Boat trip through the Hotel which was good value and fun! (although be prepared for walk to top of volcano!) The main bus station is a 20 min walk, just before the large supermarket. Bus station on left / Supermarket on the right. There is also a great small shop as you come out the front of the Hotel (First one as you walk to the right) really friendly!! The buses are pretty easy to navigate. We went to Kamari and Perissi beach. Kamari was our favourite and it is nearer (Try the King's restaurant at the end of the promanard. Great food and service) the sunbeds are free when you have a drink or food. We walked to Oia (Be prepared for a hike!) 2.5 hrs long, but worth it (get the bus back) Fira is only 10 mins walk. Which has lots of lanes with lovely shops. You can also get the cable car down to the port or walk down the many steps! The Hotel is in a great position for everything we needed and was good value for money. Can't recommend the Hotel or the staff enough. Santorini overall is beautiful, but be prepared for some high costs in some restaurants/ bars!
Welcoming and attentive staff; we felt as though we had come to visit our Greek cousins. Excellent location and views from our balcony. Very clean and well kept facility that is very nicely located a short walk from Fira -nice to be close to the shopping and port but not where it is so crowded.
