The most spectacular views i have ever seen at this hotel!! The staff were unbelievable , from the ladies at reception , to the barman at the pool , to the cleaning ladies and the baggage gentlemen . It was just a superb wonderful stay. Everyone has a smile on their faces and willing to help with anything and everything. There are a lot of stairs but that is santorini and a few stairs didn’t hurt anyone while eating all that good Greek food. Highly recommend - one of my favorite hotels I’ve stayed in!
My family and I had a truly amazing time. The hotel is not a far walk from the Monastery drop off point just a slight uphill and you are there. The staff are very helpful and friendly. Anastasia who works at the front desk was wonderful. She answered all of our questions with a big smile. The breakfast at the hotel had lots of options and the breakfast staff were also wonderful. If you are not sure of what to see on the island ask Catherine. We rented a car and she helped us plan our entire day. Catherine had great suggestions and is very knowledgeable about what there is to do and see on the island and she is happy to help. We drove around most of the island and we are so happy that we stayed at the Pegasus we had a fabulous time.
My partner and I visited Santorini for the first time in June . We decided to stay at both the east and west of the island so after staying 5 nights in a beautiful Eco boutique hotel in Kamari we jumped into a taxi and headed to Pegasus Suites and Spa for another 6 nights . The hotel is excellent in every aspect. Wi if is good. Friendly helpful staff , very clean , fantastic food both at breakfast and via room service and because the location is one of the highest on the island , the views are spectacular. The communal pool area has plenty of loungers , a well run bar and a fantastic pool which was very welcome and well used when temperatures are in the 30s . The hotel location means it’s an easy 20 minute walk ( mainly downhill) into Fira. Highly recommended . We are returning in late September.
This hotel was truly spectacular. The views are like out of a magazine, and the hotel is set into a cliff. All the rooms have a private balcony. Ours had a small plunge hot tub (although it was warm, not hot). Some have their own pool. The service was truly incredible. The staff could not have made it a better experience. Highly recommend.
Arrived hot and sweaty after the climb from the Monastery, to be greeted with sparkling wine and big smiles. We were early, so our room was not ready for us; we were offered an upgrade for the first night, but as packing isn't our favorite thing, chose instead to wait for our reserved room. Our room was spacious, spotless, and continually serviced. The towels were changed whenever we used them, and there were beach towels for our use. I would like to address what no one seems to have taken time for: there are major stairs to get everywhere! The hotel is built on the cliff-side of a volcano. I actually took a video of us climbing from our room to the reception area to show our family back home. If you have any kind of disability or breathing problems, you need to check it out. Not a complaint, understand, just be aware of what you are getting into! We could not believe the young man who shouldered our suitcases and took them first down, then back up when we checked out. One person who helped us immensely was Catherine. She confirmed reservations which we didn't realize needed confirming (they did) and helped us with transportation to places we needed to go. She also provided excellent directions and recommendations for seeing Santorini. Catherine greeted us every morning at breakfast, which was varied and excellent, as others have said. I highly recommend the yogurt, topped with anything (I preferred the honey). The pastries are sublime. We had our farewell dinner at the restaurant on site, and the food and service also were excellent. We definitely recommend Pegasus Suites, and would return there.
The view is spectacular, truly unforgettable, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The room is obviously always clean (not to mention gifts alongside the weather forecast), the hotel has more privacy than other alternatives near by and the breakfast was always nice (do try the greek halvas). It’s a well trained and maintained operation, for sure, and my wife and I are glad to have chosen Pegasus for our honeymoon. We were welcomed with island advice, were promptly made to feel at home when the AC needed a maintenance nudge and we got help booking a sailboat cruise on a night’s notice. Great hospitality.
We visited as a couple at the end of May / early June. I had booked through a 3rd party and was sure we had booked a room with a hot tub. We had not. The room was nice but our balcony was not private as it had a door joining it to the balcony of the room next door, and small with no hot tub. We managed to upgrade to a room with the pool inside the room and a hot tub on the balcony. This made the trip for us. It was a phenomenal room - although again very much next to your adjoining balconies so not as intimate as you might hope for. However the hotel is in a great position - in Santorini all hotels at the volcano side are over looked in some way - this is certainly more private than some. I was a little disappointed that you couldn’t see the panoramic of the buildings as you are tucked into the cliff but you do gain more privacy this way. The girls on reception were friendly as was the barman but I didn’t get the welcome or friendly vibe I’ve found on other Greek islands. The hotel is amazing. Our room was amazing but something was just a little lacking of the whole experience.
An Indescribable dream come true so I will try my best to share. Two weeks later and we’re still on cloud nine!! My wife and I decided to celebrate our first anniversary here as an actual “honeymoon” since our first one wasn’t a destination honeymoon. The staff was so wonderful and always greeted us with a smile. We’re a same sex couple and was pleased at how upon arrival the hotel representatives Georgia and Ana made us feel so welcome and at home. Georgia took the time to explain the island and it’s lovely locations to eat amazing food and things to do. We walked to Oia, which was a nice hike. I encourage to bring comfortable walking shoes with a good grip if you decide to take the walk. I had a romantic dinner two set up on our balcony and our service Maria was very kind and attentive. She even packed up breakfast for us the night before we departed, which I was thoughtful. Overall, beautiful island, hotel, and an amazing staff.
I had emailed Pegasus suites to give plenty notice that we would be arriving quiet early (9:30am) and if all possible could we check in early. When we arrived there was a storm in santorini, and it’s was utter down pour with thunder and lightening. We arrived in the hotel saturated. We were offered a glass of apple juice. Ana on reception booked us a taxi to nearby Fira and promised she would ring once our room Was ready. The rain kept falling and as it was a Sunday there was very little open in Fira. At 12:30 we said we might chance going back and see if our room was ready. Nonetheless it was not. We sat in reception, dripping with rain and the receptionist didn’t even offer a towel, showering facilities etc. I had to ask about a restaurant/bar and she pointed us in the direction and told us she would come get us when our room was ready. Lucky to meet marci he sat us next to a radiator to dry off. At 2:15 no sign of the receptionist we made our way to the reception, and was greeted with oh your room is ready a while now! Just so unprofessional! There are many more things I could go on about but I found the whole experience of Pegasus disappointing. I met other honeymooners who were greeted in reception with champagne! Not us though just apple juice. Would not recommend, the staff here do not reflect well for the price to stay here.
