As a single mom I traveled with two of my young adult children and we all agree that our 5 night stay at Mythical Blue was a hilight of our vacation. In summary, the memorable views, warm & first rate staff and restaurants make me want to share this review. We ate at many restaurants in Fira, and found Don Pasquale at Mythical Blue possibly the top restaurant. The food at the hotel was so delicious that we wanted to enjoy every meal there. The quality, freshness and presentation was perfect in every way. This could be the hidden gem - the best restaurant in the region. The service was always lovely. Breakfast was included with the room and a hilight of each day. We loved that the staff brought breakfast to you wherever you liked - in the cafe overlooking the pool, in your room, in the elegant rooftop restaurant or on patio lounge chairs right outside your door - even to your private pool so you could soak, dine and take in the spectacular views.. The "health breakfast" I chose each morning with yogurt, raspberry and almond milk smoothie, homemade "energy bars," poached egg, fresh fruit and granola plus freshly prepared lattes and much more. Our room was classic and simple with understated luxury. The rooms - we stayed in #2 which offered 2 sleeping areas and 2 full baths. Our three windows overlooked the city of fira and the breathtaking ocean. I think this has to be one of the top 2-3 Suites at the hotel. We loved the small touches. Eg each night when we returned we found a plate of fresh baked goodies - carrot cake, truffles or brownies - waiting. One of the showers was a challenge to figure out and there were no drawers to store clothing. But the two armoirs were fine. Most rooms offered a private pool. We lingered in the pool at all hours - dining, reading, relaxing, all while overlooking the exquisite views of the sparking white city and the glistening ocean. The staff to guest ratio is fantastic and everyone was first class. Erika's smile and ability to make guests comfortable in the pool, restaurant and bar areas was truly appreciated. Paola and Mike know the island and went above and beyond to watch out for us. We arranged so many activities with Paola - such as a sunset cruise, a theater evening, even a custom birthday cake for my son. While EVERY employee was personable and eager to help, we very much liked Yanis in the restaurant and Yanis in the bar. Two warm and friendly young men who helped make our stay even more memorable. This amazing, new hotel is sited in perhaps the best location on the island - all the way at the top. I was afraid the hotel would attract only honeymooners, but we met other families with young adult children as well as sisters traveling together, for example. The days were stiffling hot but the stunningly beautiful endless pool by the bar offered an alternative place to relax and stay cool, all while looking out to the ocean with the volcanic islands and the city of Fira. This is the ultimate hidden gem that will stay in your heart forever.

Be aware the hotel is really great, but each room are diferent. be carefull. we had great time and probably will be coming back in the future. the breakfast are off the chart , try the mithical breackfast.

I booked with Booking.com on 9th March for our arrival on 5th May. I chose a great suite at the unimaginable amount of 800 Euros/night and was confirmed: -Spacious suite - Offering a veranda with views of the caldera & Aegean Sea -Offering a private heated plunge pool -Offering a private hot tub When we arrived we were shown to a room facing onto the inner courtyard that didn't even have a window! I complained & they eventually showed me to another room that we had to climb 16 stairs that had a tiny window looking only onto the inner courtyard! We NEVER received ANY of the confirmed accompaniments' for the room as above! To think that we wanted a spectacular view of the caldera & Aegean as we were visiting Santorini for the first time & all we got was the inner courtyard of the small hotel (12 rooms) is unrealistic & unfair especially at the price we paid. To complain to the hotel & be told this is the best they can provide is ridiculous! Our stay was needless to say a huge disappointment & refused to be resolved by Booking.com who were the agents for the hotel. No compensation was offered. They told me the hotel provided a gesture of compensation by providing a bottle of wine on the 4th day! This is stupidity to think a bottle of wine is compensation as I receive this usually upon arrival at most hotels I stay at along with fresh fruit as a welcome gift! Further, breakfast was included & we had to complete a menu the night before to have breakfast in the restaurant (not room.) We ordered fresh fruit which comprised only of cubed pieces of red & green apples & grapes cut in half! Can you imagine this is the fresh fruit to be received each & every day? Terrible! Corn flakes were provided with perhaps 30 pieces inside the bowl - so small! Buyers, BEWARE!! You must be careful with Booking.com that what they advertise is not necessarily what you will get & they don't stand behind you. They fall back to the hotel & state they only follow what the hotel tells them. This is false advertising of the worst kind! You are not protected. Terrible sight to trust! Do not stay at Mythical Blue in Santorini unless you are willing to take a terrible chance regardless of what they say. And the problem is that you prepay for the stay before you arrive!

The most romantic Luxury small hotel we have ever visited, just perfect 10! Our only regret is that we only stayed 3 nights. The room, service, and food were exceptional. We had a Delux suite which afforded an amazing view of the Mediterranean from a private balcony! We definitely want to come back and stay longer.

We have stayed in 4 hotels in Greece and it was the worst one ever. Don’t be fooled by the photo and it just doesn’t worth the price: - We have booked a room with heated jacuzzi and Panoramic view, the room is just DISAPPOINTING, small and old with an expensive price - The location is around 10mins walk to Fira town, but it is on the upper hill and requires quite a lot of steps - The view is superb as it is on the hill - It is very difficult to carry the luggage by your own, We have asked for a transportation service, but only know that is chargeable (30€) when we check out. I guess every pick up service in Santorini is chargeable, but it would be better to inform the guests before offering the service. - about the “private” jacuzzi, most of them are located out of the reception area, so every guests pass by can see you in the jacuzzi, not really enjoyable. For us, we have booked the jacuzzi with panoramic view, but actually it is located on the rooftop just above the crowd of tourist, so... not really feel that is “private”. The worst still, the temperature can only be adjusted higher at noon but not at night! Who will want a heated jacuzzi at noon but a cold jacuzzi at night! - the staff, some are friendly but some are not, especially after you checked out. So, all in all, it is not really a pleasant experience. You can find a much better choice with this price in Fira!

A friend and I travelled there for the first time from Australia. The staff was very inviting and warm. We had a greatest welcome ever with the local wine and small delicious tapas (so we were off to an even greater start). Our Cave Suite was exceptional and kept clean to the highest standards. The staff continued to go over and above with each and every request. I only have positives to say about this hotel. The location was fantastic, just steps away from Fira. Go here! Stay here!! We stayed for our honeymoon and had a room with it's own hot tub on the balcony. The room was very comfortable and the hot tub was lovely. There is also a small, cold, hotel pool to use if you want to One of the highlights was breakfast on the balcony overlooking Fira. The greek yoghurt was our favourite, had it everyday! If you don't like walking up massively steep hills then you may not be happy because it's not far to Fira but very steep on the way back! Lovely hotel though and had a great time

What a fabulous location!! We stayed for three nights and did not want to leave. The accommodation was lovely but the staff made it amazing. These guys know how to make you feel like you are staying with your very favourite family members. Can not explain how welcome they made us feel. The hotel is in a very central spot. Stunning views. Will definitely make a return trip. Thank you all so much. You are my absolute highlight.

Fira is very hilly and the walking can be hard that being said this hotel has a great location within walking distance of many restaurants and views to die for. Small and Friendly with top service and super breakfasts especially the Omlettes. Our room was a cave room but very spacious, comfortable and surprisingly bright and airy we were very happy with it. Reception staff were superb and always happy to help with anything you need and service was always excellent. A downside was that the hotel restaurant which has a Michelin star was closed whilst we were there which was disappointing. The small pool was cold but lovely but we were glad the hotel was quiet as only 4 sunbeds by the pool which was a great spot to sunbathe although lots of space on the top deck. If you go to this hotel you have to accept that it is expensive for food and drinks even by santorini standards but so many places nearby to eat and drink So doesn’t have to be a problem.

Just enjoyed five days of heaven at this lovely boutique hotel in Santorini! It’s just steps away from Fira and provides exceptional service from all the staff! Large selection of breakfast items came with the reservation. Our room 1 came with fantastic views and a hot tub with views! The hot tub is upstairs and not on a balcony outside the door as I had thought but we adjusted!! The bathroom is semi private with the shower in the bedroom so the privacy factor is a consideration! But that’s just being super picky because we had the time of our lives !!!
