Habitacion con buena vista y la suite bastanteee amplia! Si no traes auto es muuuy complicado poder moverse! Ya que está muy alto y no hay nada cerca

Está un poco alejado de todo y cuesta llegar si no tienes vehículo alquilado. Sin embargo este hotel es alucinante. El mejor en el que he estado. Además pagamos por la habitación básica y nos subieron de categoría a una superior. La atención del personal es perfecta, las instalaciones y la vista increíbles. Todo está muy limpio y cuidado al detalle.

Buena experiencia, el personal se mostró muy amable sin embargo pueden mejorar la calidad del desayuno, la ubicación del hotel no es la mejor y fue muy mala experiencia el que el agua de la alberca de la habitación y del hotel estuviera fría.

Unforgettable stay, great hotel and staff

Amber Light Villas is located in a very quiet and secluded place of the island, but very close to everything by car (about 15 min to Fira, 5kms, 20 min to Oia, 7kms, and 25 min to the airport, 10 kms). Free parking at the hotel. We rented a car (highly recommendable to explore the island), but the hotel can arrange for transfers and transportation. Really comfortable bed, very cozy room, the private pool and terrace are amazing. Very clean. Swim towels and bathrobes are provided daily. We received a welcoming fruit basket with wine, every afternoon would found little cakes waiting for us in the room. Complimentary water. Nespresso machine in the room. Breathtaking view of the sunrise. Very good breakfast, we also had an exquisite dinner at the hotel restaurant. The staff is really kind and helpful, they are there for anything you might need. They also arranged for us an incredible 5 hour sunset cruise includind a great dinner and all the drinks you want ... really unforgettable experience. I do really hope that we can come back.

Exquisito confort

La suite fue excelente! copn su aplitud, decoración muy mediterránea, la terraza y piscina propias! Tenía vista al mar, aunque no a La Caldera, que es el principal atractivo natural. El hotel está ubicado en un sitio muy solitario y hay que viajar bastante rato para ir a algúnrestaurant o centro comercial. La atención es personalizada y súper amable, por lo que compensa, haciendo la estadía en el Amber Light memorable

Wonderful stay at Amber Lights Villas! We spent a week in the hotel and had a great stay - the rooms are beautiful wach with their own peivate terrace areas so feel very private. All the staff were super helpful and welcoming, helping us will arranging taxis, transfers and advice on the island. The only downside is that the location is pretty remote and mainly accessible by car. If you do not have a car/taxi then the walk to the nearest main road is via a very steep uphill walk however you could easily enjoy a trip only staying at the hotel!

Room had a smell from the sea drift but they cleaned immediately to get rid of it. It would be great if they have something on doors on windows to explain how to open and close them as Americans have never seen that setup :) and may get worried they broke something when its actually how they open

Clean, spacious rooms and helpful staff, but overall disappointing for the price. The location isn’t walkable—no paved road, no restaurants or cafés nearby—so a rental car for the duration of the stay is a must. The view looks nice only at night or from certain angles, the real view from the balcony is very underwhelming. Breakfast was very limited with almost no fresh fruit, not what you’d expect at $500/night. Charging €2 for Nespresso pods felt offensive. Staff try their best, but with only one person at the desk, check-in/out can be slow. Spacious rooms and good service, but it’s not for those expecting a signature Santorini view, walkability, or luxury breakfast options.

The property is beautiful and in a very peaceful, quiet location. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. I would highly recommend renting a car to get around because there is nothing in walking distance. The bar ran out of beer which was a bummer and breakfast was cold every morning (but very good). A second coffee machine would have been nice as there was a line to use it each morning. Overall a great place to stay!

The property, rooms, and staff are fantastic. The location of the hotel was the only negative. There is nothing within walking distance, so be prepared to spend €20-30 on each ride to town or rent a vehicle. If you don’t mind spending money on transportation then you can’t go wrong with this hotel.
