Pros: -- Fabulous rooms -- Amazing staff -- Best view in Santorini Cons: -- A lot of steps to walk to get to the main road. We had booked a stay in the Honeymoon Suite. The suite had a private pool overlooking the sea and we got a complementary bottle of wine as well. The rooms are extremely comfortable and cozy with all the modern amenities like a Nespresso machine, luxury toiletries and JBL audio devices. Hara the receptionist is an extremely animated and lovely lady, she was absolutely fantastic and helped us with every little thing we needed. She helped us with renting a car, and a map with all the places to be visited during our stay. Luckily for us they offered us a complementary room upgrade to their Honeymoon Villa, which is something out of the world. It has a private pool, a sauna pool, a view to die for and an extremely spacious automated villa.

We, 7 friends, stayed in the villa with an infinity pool, rooms 132 and 133. The view was amazing and the porters worked their butts off carrying our suitcases up and down. I love the idea of breakfast in the rooms every morning but only one day it was actually hot. Not that big a deal if we had a microwave. It was windy because we were staying during off-season so maybe tough to keep food warm. Staff was very friendly and accommodating I really cannot complain. The patio furniture was always wet and it was tough to sit on it without laying extra towels on top of it. Not an ideal situation but hey, we managed and we did have a great time.

First the negative . Our first arrival is here was not to good . We booked a stay here for a week as my husband needed a break from a very stressful job and was having major knee surgery so really needed to relax .. When you arrive at the property a porter should greet you and take all your bags down the many steps to reception . Even though our transport phoned reception our porter did not arrive , hence my husband had to carry our cases down all the steps . We where then told we could not have our room because of a medical emergency and they could offer us another room for one night and would then move us again . This was not the start to our holiday we expected . Eventually we where offered a room where we where told we could stay for the week . Unfortunately the room was at the very bottom of the complex meaning we had to climb hundreds of steps every day , even though we explained about my husbands knee . We understood there where many steps before we arrived but I think it would have been nice if after the absence of our room on arrival some thought could have gone into this . We where then offered a second room but not much further up which we decided was not worth moving . We then had a guest next door to us jump on our awning that was over balcony , when we asked what he was doing his friend became very abusive and swore at my husband . This unnerved me quite a lot Keeping me awake all night . The hotel did speak to them and things calmed down . The apartment inside and view where lovely though the outside area was quite dirty and not cleaned while we where there and sun beds where mouldy ,maybe because it was the beginning of the season. The positive The staff on reception where lovely , The view from the villas is outstanding . The area is amazing . Our cases where taken to transport at end of holiday , it’s amazing how they carry so many up the steps in the heat . I would stay here again as long as I knew the room I booked is the one I would get and as long as it was not right at the bottom .

This is your traditional cave-like villa right on the caldera side of Santorini. As other reviews mentioned the hotel staff is very friendly and willing to make every aspect of ones stay special. Our room was lovely and well maintained. Breakfast is served in your room so make sure you have some tip money handy. As in all caldera side villas be prepared for many steps to and from your villa. The staff is wonderful about transporting your luggage up and down. Villa is a 10-12 minute walk to town and shopping. Some great restaurants at the top of the steps. We were very happy with this location, room, and friendly staff.

We Visited DANA VILLAS recently and MY OH MY the whole experience out of this world, just amazing. Reception staff were very polite and friendly, the property we stayed in was beautiful and everyone was at hand to assist. My family really enjoyed there indoor and outdoor pools, caldera views, the sea, weather along with the white beautiful decor within the property. A HUGE thank you to the MD Mr Salapatas and his team for a wonderful stay, we felt highly valued as customers and great attention was paid to our needs. We hope to return soon ❤️ Infinity Suites HIGLY RECOMMENDED ❤️❤️❤️ Here are a few pics to view👍

My husband and I stayed here for a portion of our honeymoon/ birthday celebration. Everything was as shown in photos we had seen online. The view was amazing and the balcony was mostly private (no one could wander on to it but people above could possible see you). We stayed in an infinity suite and loved the hot tub indoors and out. The downside of an indoor hot tub is moisture in the air and a bit of a mildew smell which we experienced. My husband is severely allergic to mold and his allergies flared during our stay. Due to the cave like nature of the room- I’m not sure this could be avoided! Breakfast was an average complimentary type breakfast but with an added bonus of room delivery. All staff we interacted with were nice and helpful (especially those carrying our luggage!!) you leave your key with the front desk when you leave which is a bit odd, but didn’t affect our stay one way or another. We noticed ants when we arrived around the couch area (only about 10) but they got worse as we stayed. We took a Clorox wipe a few times to them but they seemed to be on the hunt for breakfast crumbs (that area is where breakfast was left). The suite above us was under construction of some sort so that woke us our last morning. There was also a blackout in the middle of the night that lasted about 20 minutes (this scared us as we were saying turning off the hot tub light would be a nice option to have and then BOOM everything around us goes black). When the power came back on our hot tub was doing the flashy change colors option which made sleeping wth the intent to wake up to the sunrise impossible... it looked like a club party was happening on the balcony. We called the desk and the guy up front said he would come fix it the next day and it should cut off around 13:00. After speaking with him there was another flicker of power around 15:00(strobe light was still going) that sent the light into a slow fade. If he came by to fix it we weren’t there, but the slow fade was much less aggressive and relaxing so we didn’t mind. Overall- our stay wasn’t perfect but it was in no way “bad”. the staff is great (and very responsive over email) and this is a great place to stay for the novelty of the indoor cave pool and “luxury” feel! The staff does a great job of making you feel like they are there for anything you need. The view is perfect and sitting in the hot tub to enjoy makes it that much better! Something to note- this hotel is located about a 15 minute walk north of Firá (the central square). We ventured down and back up daily which wasn’t terrible but the more scenic route had a road wash out so we had to walk the main road (which doesn’t have sidewalks... so strange for all the foot traffic here).

Yes the location and views are incredible, but what I loved about this hotel was the staff and especially the front desk ladies. They were very friendly, professional, and kind. Every morning I looked forward to stopping in for a quick word and a laugh or two with the ladies on my way out for the day. I'm sorry that I didn't catch all their names, the ones I recall are Hara and Nicole, but all the front desk ladies really made it a wonderful stay. I feel bad I forgot the other ladies names, they all deserve a shout out and Thank you. Also, the one time I called because of a small issue in the room, I was surprised how quickly a maintenance person arrived at my door and quickly resolved the issue. Kudos. Wonderful experience, I'd definitely stay again. One thing.. If you have any kind of mobility issues, ask for a room with fewer stairs. The trip to the rooms at the bottom is quite a long way.

Dana villas is a spectacular hotel with amazing views. Loved the all white interiors. We had a very pleasant stay here and would come back if going to Santorini again. We were greeted by Carissa when arriving to the hotel, who was very kind to us and patiently answered any questions we had. Hara was also very humorous and helpful too. The staff here is very attentive. We had a nice and quiet room with great views. The breakfast was good, and we particularly enjoyed the Greek yogurt. A nice touch was also having it served to our room. We didn’t even want to leave the hotel with everything being accommodated so well. The hotel is located in Firostefani, while also being walking distance to Fira. It is also very close to the famous blue-domed church, Agios Theodori. Definitely would highly recommend this hotel to others!

This hotel was absolutely beautiful and the staff was extremely helpful and patient. The view was great and they had a lot of helpful suggestions at the front desk for activities and they offer breakfast at the hotel also.

Book this hotel for my honeymoon and it feels like the best decision i ever made. They upgraded us to a 2 storey suite and we could not have ask for more. Every evening you will have to fill up what you want for your breakfast and desired time slot. The breakfast went beyond our expectation. If i were to return to Santorini one day, this hotel will definitely top of my list.
