Great location but unit could use some work

The location was perfect. The unit J however was a bit in rough shape. There was a bad smell from kitchen and it wasn’t very clean. The host was hard to reach through VRBO but was great once we started using WhatsApp and provided us with what we needed quickly - clean sheets, lighter for stove, more garbage bags, etc as the place wasn’t fully equipped. I’d recommend staying in Unit I as it overlooks the pool, has an unobstructed view of the sunrise, and gets the sun on the patio deck or possibly Unit H which is on the other side of building and has a really nice patio with evening sun to eat on. The place was very noisy. There is a party bus that comes by every thirty minutes or so in the evening for a couple hours blasting music, there’s roosters that crow for hours every morning, an active metal yard nearby and the walls are very thin (could hear the neighbour snoring). I would consider staying here again for the pool (about 4.5 feet deep) and the location (could walk to two different beaches, tons of restaurants, markets, movie theatre, grocery store and more). I do think it is overpriced however because of all the other deficiencies.
