loved the pool! Great staff. Shower fan was very loud.

Customer service at front desk glum. The guy was there but I had to push a button to get him to come to the desk. Then he checked me in, bare minimal interaction. Didn’t explain if pool was open and/or when, breakfast times and/or where. Room was okay. Pool was needing some serious cleaning. I am a pool lover, but couldn’t do it. Breakfast buffet had bagels, cold cereal, yogurt, apples and oatmeal. Cost to stay was pretty high for what you get

Very quiet location, nice breakfast. Upgraded us too! Would come again.

I would like to first state that Carl and Emily were very friendly and professional. They were extremely fourth-coming and helpful to three of us 47 year old women about attractions, ferries places to eat and cabs; I would gladly give these two people 10 stars!! We also did not have a refrigerator in our room and the two of them had remedied that issue withing 20 minutes. They were happy and smiling each time I saw them. However, we came head-to-head with an unfriendly boy named Shawn (Sean) that worked the front desk the evening of Saturday, August 10th. He was quite unreasonably rude! Two of us were told to "keep it down" because we were enjoying our lives and laughing in the lobby. We weren't yelling or drunk or even banging on doors running up and down the hallway (which is why I mentioned our ages earlier). I feel that this individual should be behind the scenes instead of being put in front. He was the same on Friday evening as well but hadn't said anything to us but you could clearly see as plan as day, that he would rather be somewhere else rather than at his job.

Pool was very dirty, ants were crawling on the nightstands

The staff was nice and courteous. Also very helpful in helping us find a place to eat. The parking lot is spacious and they let us park our trailer in the back end of the property. The room was clean and the shower area is beautiful. It’s a built in long standing shower (sorry no tub) with a half moon end. The shower head needed cleaning (or CLR) as it was one of the massaging ones that need more constant cleaning. The beds were clean and comfortable. The pool is a nice size and opens until 11pm. The breakfast was great and well supplied thru the morning. Breakfast area is a bit small and can get congested; there are only about 6-8 tables with 4 chairs, so on busy days, it’s hard to move around it. Only drawback is: Carpets need deep cleaning or replacement. So, bring loafers or sandals to wear.

Property was on the way home from a long day from amusement.

Smell moldy. Stains on my sheets and blankets. Shower dirty

We were there for the CMP matches and paid premium rates for non-existent Internet service. Meals were OK at best. Hot scrambled eggs and sausage rounds. For that price, it would have been nice to get a little better quality food other than pre-packaged food that I could have brought from home.

Clean, safe, accessible with good parking. No in room refrigerator and WiFi not working were only disadvantages.

Nice location but too pricey! Rooms can use an update as far as remodeling goes

I had a very important package that I left with the front desk and they said they would mail it. A week later and it's still there! Adam at the front desk had told me that he would mail it the day I called. I called back that evening and the package is still there! I will get bad rating on my job for this. I can't believe that someone could be so inconsiderate! Also, they didn't make the bed there. I don't recall that ever happening anywhere else.

Wifi was not available during my stay due to some access point issues as I was told. Hotel staff was not upfront about it.

I stayed four nights while birding at the lake shore. It was comfortable and just what I needed.

Great hotel, awesome staff. The room was very nice, clean and spacious. The beds were very comfortable. When we arrived the power was out (construction workers accidentally cut the power) and the staff at the front desk were great about getting us in to our rooms despite the ability to formally check us in. I would definitely stay again.

Fantastic hotel :) not a far drive to CedarPoint. Very clean and great price! Only two complaints I had are minor ones there was a wat.er saver shower head and I couldn't get the shampoo out..of my granddaughters hair. And. No fridge in the room. But would DEFINITELY stay here again without hesitation .

Overall hotel was good but I think it was a little over priced.

We stayed at the Sleep Inn during our 4th of July visit to Lakeside. The location couldn't have been more ideal. Close to shopping and restaurants and the main highway. Staff at the hotel were friendly and polite and the cleaning crew did a fine job. The breakfast was ample, although more room at the breakfast bar could have prevented the bottleneck at the waffle machine. The pool was nice, though slightly chilly, and we would have thoroughly enjoyed a hot tub. There are now multiple wastebaskets in rooms but no trash bags were in them so you felt bad disposing of fruit cores, rinds, peels, etc or anything moist in texture. We found the microwave on day 2 of our stay by accident while grabbing some ice from the vending area. Had we known at check in that it existed, we would have been able to bring our leftovers from Ciao Bella instead of disposing of them because of no way to reheat. A mini fridge would also have been a nice amenity. The large shower was plenty roomy but had little area to set toiletries on shelves. The only other large drawback was that room 111 smelled very musty (like a bathroom with no ventilation fan). We thought that perhaps our room was not isolated but the rest of the hotel had a pleasant smell and we could not detect the odor from other rooms while passing by during maid service. It was not worth the hassle of complaining both due to the hotel being at capacity and because one got used to it the longer exposed to it however, it was almost nauseating upon initial reexposure. We would, perhaps, stay there again as our overall experience was positive however, I would not be opposed to staying somewhere with slightly more to offer, given the cost to amenities ratio.

Was fine for our one night stay the room was clean and the staff were nice. The only issue was the lumpy bed kept me and my girlfriend up all night
