Found blood on the wall, blood on pillow case, ice machine didnt work, refrigerator was dirty. Hand prints on headboards. Shoukd have checked room thoroughly when we arrived but had tight schedule, notice blood on the 2nd night, late when we got in. Told checked out lady, supposed to get discount, guess that was just a line they use. I wasnt really looking for a discount or a refund anyway. I will jjst never stay there again or recommend it to anyone.

The rooms were comfortable, the staff we encountered were friendly. The only negative was their showers...you couldn't stand in the middle without feeling like your standing on a cushion.

Good place to stay when driving on I-80. Liked the pool.

It's was fine.. Breakfast in the morning of hard boiled eggs isn't my thing but No main problems other than the drains didn't drain.. But the price was right..

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and it did exactly what we needed it to do. We arrived late Friday night/Saturday morning and the woman that greeted us was very friendly. Our room was clean, bigger than expected, and comfortable. Every room has a mini fridge and microwave, which was perfect for us since we were coming from Chicago and had a cooler full of snacks and drinks. I was a little disappointed that the hotel was an hour from cedar point, but that is my fault for checking the location closer. The housekeeping staff was friendly and made sure we had clean towels even though we didn't need service. My only complaint was that they had a a plastic information card in the room stating that continental breakfast lasteduntil 11am on Sundays, and when we went downstairs at 10:15 they had already cleaned everything up and we then had to go out and buy breakfast. Other than that, this hotel does what it needs to. If you're looking for a reasonably priced hotel that is clean and friendly, this is the place to be.

People had written reviews of this hotel saying it smelled like smoke but I decided to give it a try anyway. I am so dissapointed that I did. It is seriously the worst experience I've had with a hotel. I would not recommend it. The only good thing is that they refunded my money back so that I could get another hotel. Yuck. Why do people still smoke?

We chose this hotel because it was half the price as other hotels in the cedar point area! It was a decent room and pretty clean. The only down side was the location was farther off of 80/90 than we would have liked but overall I would recommend this hotel!

Other reviews show this hotel has improved. I would not have wanted to see it then. The lobby smells like smoke. The halls smell like lotion of aloe vera? The amenities listed include jacuzzi, but there is none. The indoor pool was cold, and there may have been a jacuzzi included in one corner, but the vents are covered/plugged. Paint is flaking from the walls into the pool. I asked specifically at checkin if the room had two queen beds, and was told yes; the room had two double beds. If all you need is a crash pad, go for it. We were booking for a place to relax after a day at Cedar Point and were disappointed.

All good here. Red Roof has made nice improvements. Just beware of the safe charge.
