- seedy location, but the building seemed semi-secure. - hairdryers and bathroom lights did not work in either room (we had two) - bed was comfortable enough, but very loud - A/C unit worked fine - great proximity to Cedar Point - walls are super thin

Avalon Inn was perfect for our trip to Cedar Point. The room had some cosmetic issues, but it was very clean and cold. The staff was friendly, cleaned our room and refreshed our towels. I would stay here again, if we decide to make the trip back to Sandusky.

A very good place to stay on a budget if planning to visit Cedar Point, as it’s located not far from the park. About a 10 minute drive. So very convenient. Staff was very friendly. Definitely would stay there again if I go back.
