Very cosy cottage, that more than catered to our needs. We had a very enjoyable Easter vacation. It was our second visit in three months. I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else. Hazel is very welcoming, and very helpful. It wasn't a drama to extend our stay. My chihuahuas Misha & Kostya enjoyed themselves. Thank you Hazel.

Immaculate cottage in beautiful surrounds

Beautiful surrounds with fully fenced yard. The cottage was immaculate and had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Communication with Hazel was easy, prompt and super friendly. Cheese platter on arrival and the whole experience was wonderfully relaxing. Easy drive to Hobart and was a perfect nights stay for me and my two little furry friends.Thank you to the hosts!

Great place!

The unit was clean, comfortable, warm, well appointed, private and quiet in a lovely location. Lovely deck for meals. Excellent kitchen and lounge. Hazel was a great hostess. We'd definitely stay here again on our next trip to Hobart.

Just Delightful

Hazel was fabulous to communicate with. The cottage was super comfortable, with everything we needed. Lots of doggy friendly extras (couch over, towels, dog bowl etc), plus was fully fenced. There was even a bottle of bubbles and cheese and crackers in the fridge to enjoy after we had unpacked. The location is fabulous, close to all the beaches, plus whatever else you may need, ie, delis, grocers, and eating establishments. These are all a short drive away. We will be staying again!

Full Cottage, Private Entrance, Peaceful Space

My husband, our dog, and I stayed one night in this cottage and absolutely loved it. We had our privacy, but could easily contact host if needed. Once checked in we had our own private exit/entry. The cottage was very clean, beautiful designed, and the little touches left for guests by the host were very much appreciated. We were so sad we only booked it for a night. Our dog didn't want to leave either. Thank you for a WONDERFUL home away from home.

Our hosts could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable. Quirky but fully catered cottage, highly recommended. And our greyhound enjoyed gallops around the generous yard.

Sandford cottage

This was a beautifully presented property. The property manager was there to let us in. It was generously stocked with tea, coffee, biscuits, milk etc. Everything was very clean and in good condition. Most importantly it was lovely for the dogs. I would definitely recommend it and would love to stay there again.

A Marvelous Stay at Stanford in Tasmania

My recent 9-day stay at Stanford in Tasmania was nothing short of marvelous. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that made us feel right at home. The accommodation provided exceeded our expectations and the host, Hazel, truly went above and beyond to ensure our stay was exceptional. The accommodation at Stanford was fantastic. The rooms were not only clean and comfortable but also tastefully decorated, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Every detail had been thoughtfully considered, and it was evident that Hazel takes great pride in maintaining a high standard of quality for her guests. We had everything we needed and more. Speaking of Hazel, she was the perfect host. Her friendly and approachable nature made us feel instantly welcomed. She was attentive to our needs and went out of her way to ensure our stay was enjoyable. No request was too much trouble for her, and her willingness to accommodate our dog made our visit even more special. The fact that our furry friend had a fully secured area to roam and play in was a huge bonus. The location of Stanford was also ideal. Surrounded by open spaces and breathtaking scenery, it provided the perfect setting for relaxation and exploration. We enjoyed long walks in nature, taking in the beauty of the Tasmanian landscape. The tranquility and serenity of the area were exactly what we needed to unwind and recharge. I cannot express enough gratitude to Hazel for her exceptional hospitality
