As motels go this is a better than average location. The room was clean and fresh. The shower pressure was incredible. We didn’t expect frills and there weren’t any. As value for money it was good, just don’t expect wow factor.
Review stolen from Michael C with a few adjustments I'm reviewing this hotel from a business traveller point of view. I cannot fault this accommodation. Room was very clean, and modern. The bed and Pillows were great (pillows better than home). The shower pressure excellent , I travel approx 40 weeks per year, and have paid a lot more for a lot less, value for money. 5 min drive to shops 15 min walk Enjoyable stay. Definitely recommend.
I’m reviewing this hotel from a business traveler point of view. I cannot fault anything about this accommodation. Room was very clean, and modern. The bed and Pillows were great. For the first time in the last 9 years and hundreds of hotels I actually used the mini bar. Prices extremely reasonable. Enjoyable stay. Definitely recommend
Clean, spacious room & convenient location. Carpark just below rooms. We enjoyed the evening walk along the beach . Feeĺ blessed there happened to be a dusk market ( 5-9 pm) held near the beach ,just 15 mins walk away from motel.
As soon as we entered it was just lyk we entered in a guest house nt a hotel. D reception manager was very rude..The check out tym was 11 bt she called us at 10:00 only for check out.The location was nt good with family. We were with two children. At 8o’clock it look lyk a haunted house. The wifi was also nt working properly. It was very disappointing. Will never suggest any one to stay there specially with family.
I stayed here for two nights. The bed was firm but comfortable, and the room was also equipped with a sofa, TV, fridge-freezer (which doubled as a mini-bar), kettle, toaster, crockery & cutlery, tea & coffee. Fresh milk was provided by reception. Good shower and soft towels. Quiet a/c in the room, good free wifi, and a safe that can hold up to a 15" (38cm) laptop. This hotel did not provide a do-not-disturb sign for the door - only a sign to say that the room does not need cleaning today - I was ill with the flu when I stayed here, so I slept in, but on both mornings I was woken by the cleaner banging on the door repeatedly because it was locked, until I got out of bed, staggered to the door and shouted through it to go away - on the second morning at 9:30am, a different cleaner asked reception to call the room to see if I was still there - don't they realize that if the door is locked, the guest must still be in the room?? Duh. If it wasn't for the idiot cleaners, I would have given this hotel a 5/5 review.
Stayed one night on business. Staff were very much on the ball calling me to let me know the procedure for late check in. The room was a very pleasant surprise and one of the nicest (and largest) I’ve stayed in. Super clean with a large bed. Lovely harbour views too. Will definitely stay here again when next in town.
The rooms were large and airy. The beds were comfortable and there was a sofa and table and chairs for meals. Great breakfast bar facilities in the room with the drawer that comes out and drops down. Good storage space for suitcases. Good water pressure in bathroom for showers. Close to Wrest Point Casino and reasonably priced eateries. Wi-Fi was patchy during our stay and this may have been the load on the system but at times things just dropped out (first world problem, I know). Bathroom doesn't have any place to store toiletries bags.
I have just stayed two nights in this very well located motel. I needed to be in Sandy Bay so it was perfect for my needs. After a warm welcome at Reception, I found my deluxe queen room very clean, spacious and well-appointed. I didn’t use the breakfast packages but on one occasion walked virtually across the road to Wrest Point Casino for their buffet breakfast. I had no car but there seemed to be plenty of free car parking on the premises. Wifi was excellent.
Spent six nights here and it was a great location and great deluxe room. Would recommend this motel to anyone visiting Hobart as it is so central and close to all attractions. Very clean room and excellent bedding.
