Multiple insects in room. Gnats on ceiling. Spider on floor. And the worse part when I went to let down and rolled over there was huge orange spider that was crawling on the pillow right near my head. This is a safety concern

I never like to waste money on a room for vacation. I don't expect much from a room that is $80 a night. However, I am surprised Wyndham would put their name on a property like this. The door either didn't fit the jam correctly or the weather striping needs to be replaced. This would probably also save money as the A/C unit wouldn't constantly run. The beds were fairly uncomfortable. The room overall did meet our needs for showering and sleeping.
The breakfast was wonderful. The staff there (Kyle) ran my credit card 16 times BEFORE I checked in, even though on the website it stated I would pay when I ARRIVE. We showed up at 5:45 to be told they would've cancelled my reservation at 6 if I hadn't shown up. Tried to pay with my credit card but the bank already denied it because they thought the charge was fraudulent due to the amount of times someone tried to charge it. Unfortunately we couldn't use our credit card for the rest of our trip. Thanks Kyle for making our trip that much more difficult. I won't be staying at this particular hotel again, not matter how great the price is.
I was more impressed on the customer service that the 2 young ladies at the front counter. They were both very friendly.
The in room fridge & microwave were dirty, the room smelled like cigarette smoke. The light switch near the A/C was inoperable, the light switch over the night stand "shocked" my daughter when trying to turn it on and the room, though tidy, had an unclean feel to it. The photos online were misleading. I guess lighting and angles go a long way in making things appear better than reality. Since my stay have learned this property has a bad reputation in San Marcos

It was very clean and the shower was excellent! It was located convenient to everything! I enjoyed my stay and would choose Days Inn again!
I liked that they worked with me to get an early check in. I did not like that my only room option was a smoking room and they could not guarantee that it would not smell terribly, so I ended up not staying in the room at all.
