The room was nice, the breakfast better than most and the staff was welcoming. However, I was surprised that parking was $10! They are located on the outskirts of town with a large parking area. Later I saw that the fee is shown on Orbitz, but it is hard to see.

The rooms, beds, and bathrooms were super clean, the breakfast was excellent, and the staff were very attentive. My family and I had a wonderful stay. If I had to travel to Santa Maria again, I would choose the same hotel.

Honestly, my initial impression was not positive. the person working reception desk made No eye contact with me, just saidk i'll be right with you and she continued to type away on computer. I was the only one in lobby. after several minutes, i asked, will it be much longer as I can go back to my car. She said, ok. what is your name. after showing her my drivers license, she didn't look at it, but asked for my name. then she told me my room wasn't ready yet , check-in was 3:00. 18 minutes away. She did not offer me coffee and have a seat to wait. Frankly, she did not make me feel welcome. i did not get her name. When i returned, a different woman checked me in. she was friendly. When i checked out, a different woman helped and she was friendly.
