Visit Again

La Mona was a wonderful experience for my son and me. The apartment was clean, and it was easy to get in contact with the staff. There was one issue with the room, and the staff was able to fix it quickly. The location was a perfect spot. It's within walking distance to many restaurants and a 24-hour grocery store. I would book with La Mona again.

Everything was super, ultra amazing, from the setup of the room to the little issentials box,it's close proximity to a 24hr supermarket and easy access for Uber pick and drop offs.. the stay was well worth it and will do it again once traveling to PR again.

I had a great experience at La Mona Loiza Apartments Complex! From the moment I arrived, the team was incredibly responsive. I had a small issue with the lockbox when I first got there, and someone was available immediately to assist me—such a relief after a long day of travel. The apartment was exactly as described: clean, comfortable, and in a great location with everything within walking distance. The detailed messages before and during my stay made check-in smooth, and I appreciated the restaurant recommendations and tips for navigating the neighborhood. One of the highlights of the service was when I requested additional towels—they brought them promptly, even on a different day. That kind of attention to guest comfort really stood out. The team checked in before, during, and after my stay to ensure everything was going well. They made it easy to relax and enjoy my time in San Juan. Highly recommend staying here if you want a stress-free experience with a responsive and kind team. Would definitely stay again!

This was an excellent place to stay. Perfectly situated across the road from a 24 hour supermarket and 2 blocks from the beach. Bus stop right outside and plenty of dining options. Only downside is despite what is shown in the pictures on their website the swimming pool is no bigger than the average spa bath. Management staff were exceptional, especially Isabel who went out of her way to make our stay as comfortable as possible.

The property is well situated and convenient. There’s no staff at the place to assist, as everything gets handled online, but they were pretty quick to respond to any concerns or questions you might had. We got a room that smelled really nice, but the stove wasn’t working and the floors were a lil dusty (we were walking barefoot and our feet were dirty) HOWEVER Ashley was really nice to assist and check the stove for us and found out that it wasnt working. She gave us the option to move to another room, bigger and on the same floor we were already staying at no extra charge. We needed an iron in the room and they provided that as well. Now that is Top Tier Customer Service. The only concern with the new room was that on the kitchen sink there was cold water only for the first 10 seconds and then it was just hot water. So we washed the dishes with hot water lol. Other than that, our stay was excellent, the new room was clean, bigger, the place was quiet, & we had the opportunity to do a late check out which helped us a lot. I would definitely recommend staying here!! They don’t have a parking space, BUT it’s not hard to find parking, we found parking on the same street every single day of our stay. Thank you so much Ashley & Isabel for all the accommodations. <3

The property was clean except that the shower floor (slight dark spots) and sink faucet (limescale) could have been cleaner. Otherwise, the tables, kitchen counter, night stand etc. were clean. Towels were clean. I loved the fact that there were two Acs in the apartment. There were all the necessities you would need after a long flight like paper towels, toilet paper, soap, cream, coffee, tea. I would have just added water! There was a washing machine and dryer in the apartment which was excellent. One note of caution - double check before booking the room that you will be getting. When my partner saw the property, he was drawn to the bedroom with terrace option because the pictures displayed showed that the terrace was adjacent to the bedroom. It was for this reason we incurred the additional cost for that type of room. To our surprise and dissatisfaction, the terrace was not adjacent to the bedroom but rather, the kitchen. There were also other features displayed in the images which were not the same with the room we got eg the sofa in the picture was bigger and the picture displayed a dishwasher.

Stayed for 3 days. It’s literally in the center of everything. Uber to anywhere for no more the $3/4 the most was $5. The only con is there is no elevator in the building so if you don’t mind the stairs then you good. The highest floor is 3 so it’s not bad in my opinion. It can get very noisy because it’s on a busy street. Very responsive and accommodating. I will recommend and stay here again.
