Enjoy your home away from home and beautiful Pt Loma with an expansive view of the gorgeous San Diego Bay & Shelter Island you can enjoy a comfortable space with luxury amenities.

A spacious oasis to escape the hustle and bustle of the city, but close enough for a night out on the town. If you’d rather stay in and enjoy the views, relax on the patio, soak in the hot tub, or have a drink by the fire pit with your fur baby.

Enjoy your own private one room suite with patio - breathtaking views of the bay, filled with sailboats and a gorgeous skyline. A cold drink, on a hot summers day, is best enjoyed while watching the sunset from on patio, next to the fire pit or from the hot tub.

Large bedroom (appx. 18 x 40) with sitting area. King size mattress is one of the most comfortable around. Recent upgrades to the bathroom include a brand new shower with glass doors and a clean, modern feel. Renovations in November 2025 entail brand new full kitchen, new appliances, new dining room table, new futon couch, new rugs, and new bed spread. Gorgeous inside, must see!

With comfortable outdoor furniture, weight bench and hand weights, a barbecue area with a small sink & outdoor beverage fridge, use of the backyard area to sun yourself or enjoy lawn games, a private (locked) space for outdoor toys such as beach cruisers, surf boards or kayaks, and a breezy cool room, this location has something for everyone.

For those who enjoy the home, amenities include shampoo, conditioner, body soap, two lush terry robes available to snuggle in during San Diego cool breezes after playing in the water, central heating and air (because San Diego can go through all four seasons in one day!) and a small business desk area for the business traveler or gamer. Extra linens and towels are also kept on hand as well as black out curtains in the bedroom.

The room is downstairs of the house privately. Private entrance, patio, backyard, hot tub, fire pit, bathroom, and bedroom. We are in the house upstairs, but would only bump into each other if by chance outside when leaving or entering the property. The utmost privacy and perfect secluded getaway is guaranteed.

We live in a quiet, family neighborhood. Quiet hours are 10p to 8a inside and outside and are monitored closely. There are no other guests, loud music, or parties inside or outside of premises. Please be cognizant of noise when leaving and exiting the property and getting in and out of cars/Ubers on the street. There will be a $100 noise disturbance fee if quiet hours are not observed.

All guests are provided this advance notice as I want to be sure you’re happy with the property.

There is a white trash can in the outdoor sitting area that may be used as well for any trash, along with the indoor trash bin. The hot tub can be dangerous. Please no food or drink permitted in the hot tub and do not leave children unsupervised in or near.

Well-behaved, house-trained and non-aggressive pets are welcome, but must be approved ahead of time - please provide details of your pets prior to booking. Please remember to clean up after your furry friends!

Host lives upstairs, with pets, so may be residual noise from time to time.

Hot tub maintenance is performed Thursdays between 9am to 12pm. They will arrive on property through the side gate and be on property for a short period of time. If you brought a dog, please secure them during this time.
The apartment is air-conditioned and features a kitchen and a balcony, and there's space to spread out with a separate bedroom. Guests can enjoy a Smart TV and stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a fireplace, a sofa bed, and a coffee maker.

Great views and friendly host

Just a quick getaway for us and our two dogs and Andrea’s home was perfect. What amazing views and great location close to Liberty Station, downtown San Diego, Ocean Beach and Sunset Cliffs. Wonderful place, iconic hillside elevated house with a south facing view. Having said that the only thing I would mention is the noise level. Because this is on a hill there is street noise and airplane noise, especially with the windows open at night. There is a military base not far away and at midnight 4 or 5 planes took off and had we had no idea planes could be that loud. Having said that, it kind of goes with the territory as it's all military all around. You hear the taps played every evening at sunset and I would say the tradeoff is worth it. there is a ton of good food within a very short drive. don't miss the views at the Cabrillo National Park just down the road. Tidepools and lighthouse are neat but the views of the coastline, the bay and back to the city are beyond spectacular.

This place is perfect for a couple who want to get away, enjoy a stunning view, comfortable bed, big room, hot tub. Close to the city and plenty of restaurants nearby. This was such a great spot and convenient location for everything we had planned that weekend. Only thing to note is that you can hear noises / footsteps upstairs from host family so if you’re looking for something that feels more like a private getaway this might not be the best option. But we had an amazing stay. Loved using the hot tub. Everything was clean and comfortable!

Great rental, great view, and great host!

We stayed here for the weekend and had a wonderful experience. Andrea was very helpful and attentive to our needs and questions and made sure we had everything we needed. The rental was clean and cozy and the view was incredible. We spent one of our evenings grilling and relaxing on the deck by the fire pit, enjoying the view. Highly recommended. Thanks Andrea!

San Diego Getaway

This was a fantastic place to stay! The space was as good as advertised. The location was perfect and allowed for easy access to sightseeing in and around San Diego, however the place was also great for simply staying in and relaxing. Andrea did a wonderful job as host being accommodating while at the same time not becoming involved in your stay (as we have heard horror stories about on reviews at other location). My wife and I would definitely go back and stay there again and we also talked about how the place would even work if we wanted to bring our kids.

Absolutely Beautiful Home & Views

My wife and I and our two dogs had an amazing vacation staying in Andrea's beautiful VRBO unit! The views overlooking Point Loma and the ocean were gorgeous. The hot tub was so relaxing and we had the best nights' sleep in a very long time. Andrea is the most welcoming host and she made sure that we were happy. Thank You Andrea! You Are The Best!

Amazing Views!

Absolutely gorgeous views from patio and studio! We loved everything about this adorable studio. Plenty of room in the studio and fantastic outdoor patio and yard area. We had no issues during out stay, but had one question on turning off the spa and Andrea responded quickly. Love the place and Andrea. Highly recommend!

Relaxing getaway

Andrea’s place is lovely, and just as the pictures show. Great views of the water, a very comfortable and generous space, and cozy fire pit. Close proximity to restaurants and shopping made our stay convenient. Also the home is in a walkable neighborhood for a morning stroll to a nearby, really good coffee shop. Andrea responded quickly with a welcome letter and helpful checkout reminder. She also offered good restaurant recommendations. We had a wonderful time and will definitely stay here again next time we are in the area.

Great time in Point Loma

What a wonderful time we had at this lovely home away from home. It contained absolutely everything we could need for both my wife and I as well as our sweet pup. We really enjoyed ourselves and are already looking forward to our next stay there. And what a view from the patio that was complete with very comfortable furniture that surrounded the fire pit. Amazing location with great views and a cozy atmosphere

This home was exactly as advertised and the host, Andrea, was awesome. I was on on a busy schedule and didn’t have the time I would have preferred to relax, but this home has amenities such as a hot tub, fire pit, and access to a BBQ grill that I wish I would have had time to take advantage of. Beautiful panoramic view of Point Loma, Coronado Bridge, and NAS North Island. Recommend 10 out of 10.
