My stay at the Sea Horse Resort was absolutely fantastic. Even before my trip, I had been in contact with one of their representatives about various questions I had, and when I arrived, I finally got to meet him in person. We had a great conversation, which made me feel incredibly welcomed. Not just him, but every employee I spoke with was genuinely engaged and eager to chat, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. It felt more like being at home than staying at a hotel. The room was perfect—comfortable bed, a stunning view of the pier and sunset, and a well-thought-out layout. I had everything I needed to prepare meals and enjoy a great dining experience right in my room. I couldn’t find a single thing to complain about. If someone told me I had to live in this room in San Clemente, I’d be more than happy to! Even when I encountered a small issue—returning to find a broken glass in my room—the level of care from the staff stood out. I was able to reach the manager after hours and her first concern was whether I had been injured. She reassured me multiple times, showing true hospitality and attentiveness. My family has stayed here before, and after having my own experience, I can confidently say this was one of the best stays I’ve ever had at a hotel. I felt more than just a guest—I felt truly welcomed and cared for. I highly recommend this hotel. My room was #6, and even with a partial view, it was more than enough to feel completely satisfied with my overall experience

We enjoyed out stay here! The property was clean and newly renovated. The view and patio were perfect. It's a short walk to town which is filled with restaurants and shopping. We did not have many interactions with the staff but they were very nice to check in and out with.

Staying just behind the pier so it's gorgeous. Amtrack comes bye every couple of hours, day and night. So if sleep isn't big on your list, it's perfect!

Had family emergency - had to check out 1day early ; I requested refund of the 1day - but was not granted . Kitchenette was not clean when we entered it had 1/2 bottle of soda & 1/2 eaten apple . But overall location near beach was fantastic

The perfect way to start 2025!

I really enjoyed my time at the Sea Horse Resort. My room, The Catalina, had a spacious patio that overlooked the pier and beach. It was perfect for relaxing in the morning with coffee watching the waves and in the evening with wine watching the sunset.
