It is tacky and disappointing that a Hilton property charges extra for the parking and internet. And is very pricey. Other than that, the rooms, location and service are great.
I was given a key card to my room and someone was in the room when I opened the door. I had to take my luggage back to the front desk to receive a new room key. Plus they say no smoking but ashtrays are everywhere outside of the rooms. So you walk past smokers to get to your room. The drapes in the room did not cover the window in the bathroom. It was an awful place!
Was amazing but parking lot could have been bigger. Noticed my car was scratched up and not happy about that.
Booked this room for one night. I asked for the corner unit and they satisfied my request. Clean big room. with a mini fridge/microwave. Spacious! A bit noisy @ night as you can hear the freeway on the other side of the way. The freeway is a mile or so away from the hotel. Secured underground parking was a plus! Good to stay for a night or two max. Coffee is complimentary in the office all day. OverLl, it is well taken care of by the man agent. Reasonable midweek prices, under $90.00. No pool, or jacuzzi. Smaller hotel. We enjoyed it!
I like the fact that they didn’t bother you the room was clean stayed up until you at least got there that I cannot say about the car rentalAnd I like the fact it was close to the beach and good parking in friendly Maid Service
Continental Brekafast better than most places stayed. Haven’t had to spend one cent on breakfast in my 1 week stay. Hotel staff is friendly. Breakfast gals are awesome. I was upgraded to the 1bed king suite and it’s outfitted with dishwasher, full fridge, intensive and etc. If you’re looking to save a $buck and yet not skimp on amenities or professionalism, this is the place.
Very accommodating owners. Any negative reviews we read before hand were not true at all. Some people just want to complain. This is a perfect spot to stay. I would stay here again.
This hotel is in a great location - walking distance to restaurants, bars, and a 7-Eleven. Ask for a room in a quiet area. Some rooms face the main street, which can vary in quiet-to-noisy. The front desk agents vary from friend to not-as-friendly. Safe location, great town.

They need to change their sign name so guests won't take too much time looking for the hotel. Glad hotel floor is not carpeted. Bring your own shampoo and soap...
The rooms were clean. Maid service wasnt that good. I would leave the sign on my door and they would take my towels and not replace them. I would have to go ask for them. Most they did was replace my trash bag. Location is good and overall good room.
For some reason I really like this place. It's not the cheapest, it doesn't offer breakfast, comfort is mediocre at best. In short, it's painfully average. But I like it, just not sure why.
The only thing I would mention is that the name on the actual hotel is Budget Inn, not Americas Best. We drive by a few times before realizing the building it was. That could be confusing for customers out of town.
This hotel is located in the south part of San Clemente. It's close to restaurants, bars, and restaurants. The front desk manager is reserved and a bit passive, if not outright rude. Housekeeping is good, though they came into my room when I had a "do not disturb" on the doorknob. Felt intrusive. For the two mornings I was there, there was a loud noise in the building that was inexplicable. It was early in the morning too, before 7am. Nothing was done to eliminate the noise which then happened every 30 minutes. This hotel has great potential, I just don't think it's run as effectively as possible.
