Perfect mom's night away

We had an amazing stay at Kimpton Santo! We booked our stay as a mom's night away from home. We had everything we could need at the hotel! The staff was incredibly helpful and kind, the property was beautiful, and the drinks were great. I hope to be back soon!

Very Attentive Staff

Great experience as a guest from the moment we arrived! All staff was very attentive. We even had a staff member recognize our daughter was injured and offered to bring up ice. Can’t say enough great things about this hotel. This is our go-to San Antonio hotel. Thank you for going above and beyond for your guests. It’s so appreciated.

San Antonio Great Escape!

The property was new, modern, and clean with a friendly staff. There were hidden fees that were slipped in on us at check in; these were unexpected and non-negotiable, according to the front desk clerk. We will likely not be back to stay because we shouldn't be forced to pay for perks that we did not use. It was very uncomfortable and disappointing to be put in that situation upon arrival.

Wonderful hotel!

The Kimpton Santo in San Antonio was a beautiful hotel inside and out that was very clean. The staff at the Kimpton were very friendly and accomodating. Entire hotel smelled great and the beds were super comfortable in the room. We loved that the hotel was very pet friendly. In addition to it be very accommodating for pets, there was no additional charge. (We brought our rottweiler and he loved it.) Hotel is close to everything in a very safe area. Only a 10 minute walk to the Riverwalk, Alamo, and Convention Center. Amenities were great! We had breakfast each day there and it was delicious at their nice Dean's Steak Restaurant. They provided an hour social hour that offered complimentary wine. We greatly enjoyed this while sitting in the nice courtyard. Rooftop pool and bar was nice and I had a great workout on the 10th floor also with a great view. Lastly, with the destination fee San Antonio charges, they compensated guests with daily discounts for the store, restaurant, and spa. Only feedback I would share for improvement is the valet parking is expensive $56 a day and the spa next door at Plaza Hotel was subpar. Beautiful spa, but service was not at level it should have been for such a nice hotel.

When I asked about San Antonio and tourist points of interest, they were very kind, but they didn’t have any brochures or maps of the city. Great needed addition to SA hotel choices

San Antonio was in need of an upscale InterContinental & Kimpton. In recent years, it got both. Great properties! Construction on S Alamo moved the entrance to a side street. Valets were TOP NOTCH-always opening the doors when leaving or arriving in Lyft. Front desk was fantastic, as were the bartenders at Dean”s! Housekeeping could be better - a half eaten kid’s donut & BK paper crown behind the couch. Nice rooftop pool! Huge suite. View will be great when Alamo Street construction is over. Felt treated like VIPs by valets, front desk & bartenders!

The perfect hotel for a peaceful getaway! The ambience is everything. Everyone from the valet and front desk provided outstanding customer service. This hotel and the amenities are great and they allow pets to stay for free!

Do yourself a favor and park at Hemisfair lot just to the east of the hotel after dropping off, five minute walk. $14 overnight vs the $60 at the hotel.
