The TV was antenna only and never really worked. Could not get golf tournament.

This is a lovely little retreat set in a quiet area of town but close to everything. The location is great and the room and bed were so comfortable. After a day of sightseeing and going places it was great to come "home" and just relax and get a second wind for the evening outings.

Didn't know quite what to expect but we found charm and independence in the historic section. Owner just leaves the key in an outside basket for you. She did appear to check on us and provided dinner recommendations and adjusted the a/c for us as you don't have the capability. Room has exterior door with somewhat of a courtyard with two outside chairs and table to have wine at night or coffee in the morning. You can even converse with other guests if you like. We walked to dinner as many restaurants were nearby.

I enjoyed my stay at the bed and breakfast mainly for the privacy and the "home" feeling to it. I felt like I was living at home and not at some hotel. I was able to park my small 4 door car in the small spaces in the back of the property. Restaurants, good ones I might add, attractions, were all just a few blocks away. If I needed to go farther I could call Uber or Lyft for a small fee compared to what you pay for at the parking garages downtown. The room itself was very clean. There was everything in it that was described in the hotel amenities. I had made all my arrangements with Deb, over email. I didn't get to see her during my stay, but I briefly talked to her over the phone at checkout. This was my first time at a B & B and it was a completely different checking in/out process from what everyone's used to when going to an hotel. Deb gave me instructions on how to check in, and as my guest and I entered the room it was all nice and neat. Deb left us notes in several areas. There were instructions for the television, the coffee maker, for the shower and a guidebook on local places to visit. The only things that I didn't like was that I wasn't able to control the temperature in my room, but she had a heater and a fan in the room so that made things work. Other than this I really liked the place. I wish I could have stayed longer. My room, Provence, had a big shower and hot tub. My guest and I really enjoyed that. We also loved having the small deck outside to hang out in.

My wife and I stayed in the Carriage House, the building in the back of the larger Bed & Breakfast. The decor is simple and classy while the amenities cover all basic needs. This could be a very cozy dwelling for a long-term stay in San Antonio!

Yes, we cut the cable several months ago. Most guests use their computers and/or hook up to the smart tvs. Sorry you were disappointed.

Thank you! Glad you were comfortable. We are an historic property in a residential neighborhood so we do not have a hotel size parking lot. But we do have off street parking and street parking that are both FREE.
