Quaint, comfortable and clean
This was our first VRBO on our trip to Costa Rica, so we weren't sure what to expect. We arrived after dark and finding the home was a bit of a challenge (no real house addresses) but the Google Maps link and the "getting there" description helped. Once we arrived, getting the keys and getting in was no problem.Air conditioning was great! There was a unit in each bedroom that worked very well. We Canadians appreciated that. Having no hot water in the sinks was a surprise (although we quickly learned that that's the norm all over Costa Rica) but the shower water heater worked and gave us what we needed for our showers. We had a couple of little issues, but our host Bee was very responsive and sent assistance right away for both things to ensure all was well for us. Two thumbs up for her.Beds were comfortable, the kitchen and its gas stove had what we needed to prepare our food, and the front patio was a great place to relax in the mornings before it got too hot. We were able to walk to the beach although others may prefer to drive (we enjoy long walks) and we appreciated being out of town a little bit although only a 2-3 minute drive in to Samara. We really enjoyed our stay here.
