Hotel is convenient. Close to city center. Room was big and clean.

I think it should be a three stars hotel. Also they charge me for the other person. We where 2 people and o got charge 15 euro for the second person.

Convenient to getting to and from the train station and to the old town. Clean, comfortable rooms. We came early and the staff were professional in storing and protecting our baggage. Only downside is there is no real food / restaurants in the immediate area - but within walking distance there are plenty of fine ones.

The hotel & price were great, the only problem was the location. If you don't have problems with using the Bus then this is one of the best (or the best) options you have to pay something cheap and great.

A good hotel with friendly staf but just not central location and initially a confusing city to get around. Be aware the city rolls up the streets early.

friendly, good location, clean, quiet, parking.

Staff were very helpful and friendly, and the hotel is in a very good location. Though the exterior is freshly painted, the interior, though in decent shape, has not been renovated in some time. Perhaps this fact is reflected in the good nightly rate. The mattresses were pretty uncomfortable, as were the pillows. The room had a nice foyer area though, which helped with mitigating suitcase clutter. The bathroom, though clean, showed signs of wear and tear -chips in the tile, here and there, caulking that needed updating etc...What the room lacked in appearance was made up for in the friendliness of the staff. They had a roll-a-bed ready in the room for our 4 year old son, and were helpful in getting the internet sorted. [...]. Be prepared to pay a per day parking fee, and a fee for internet (connectivity was a bit spotty). If you are on a budget, you could certainly do worse.

The hotel was absolutely perfect and very restful. While it was a long walk from the town, it was very close to the train station which was perfect for an overnight trip.

Overall decent and clean, with very helpful staff. However the hotel is 15-20 minute walk from anything interesting, including the train station.

Friendly helpful staff. Close enough to walk to the center city and far enough to be very quiet and restful. Easy to get to by car.

Very nice rooms and decent interiors, good supportive staff and very fast at reception. Buffet breakfast was good spread with friendly help around, overall a good value for money, I would recommend for those who dont want to have five star luxury.

The Mercure Salzburg Kupazinberg in Salzburg, Austria was a very short taxi ride from the train station. Unfortunately our room was not air-conditioned and was a little small once the luggage was brought in. There was a fan in the room, but the room was still warm and stuffy. Upgrading (which was no available at the time, was an additional 15 Euro. Even with that, I would probably go back since it was a 15-20 minute walk to the center of the town. The internet at the hotel was overpriced at 6-8 Euro per hour. Fortunately there was an internet cafe five minutes away that charged $1 euro an hour
