We traveled to Salzburg for the Christmas markets. The hotel is only a short walk to the Old Town, but the weather wasn't very good which made that walk a bit unbearable. Can't control the weather, but just take into account the location if you have mobility issues. Also, there are not many dining options in the area. On the positive side, the staff was excellent (especially Rina!) and very accommodating. Our room was comfortable and the facilities were very good. We would recommend the hotel to travelers.
Housecleaning never cleaned the room. Just makes the bed.

Convenient to getting to and from the train station and to the old town. Clean, comfortable rooms. We came early and the staff were professional in storing and protecting our baggage. Only downside is there is no real food / restaurants in the immediate area - but within walking distance there are plenty of fine ones.
The hotel & price were great, the only problem was the location. If you don't have problems with using the Bus then this is one of the best (or the best) options you have to pay something cheap and great.
