Location although a bit close to the city but felt a bit sketchy. We had 2 adults and 2 kids. The room was really tiny. Breakfast was provided continental style with stickers insides of the ikea cups… who knows if they washed them. Juice watered down; milk kept out warm. It served the purpose but I wished I found something nicer and clothes to the center.

Once inside, the room was ok. However, it was clear that the bathroom had flooded as I had to lean in to that door to gain entrance as the bathroom door was expanded into the floor. I made sure to keep the bathroom door at the same location and found the door moved after ‘cleaning’. Room also smelled like drain pipe sewage.

Hotel sencillo, en el piso de un edificio. Cómodo y limpio. Buena ubicación, cerca de la estación de trenes y de buses. Se puede ir a pie al centro histórico aunque queda unas cuantas cuadras.

Disappointing Experience – Poor Service We were very disappointed with our recent stay. Our bathroom flooded, and it was clear from the swell of the door that this wasn’t the first time it had happened. We called the front desk, and while the staff member did come to check, he offered no real help. He said he’d see if another room was available but never followed up—we had to go back 30 minutes later to ask again, only to be told there were no rooms left. Instead of offering assistance or sending housekeeping, he handed my husband towels and left us to clean up the mess ourselves. When I asked if he had a mop or broom since this clearly shouldn’t be our responsibility, he said he would check but again never returned. Overall, the situation was handled poorly and left us feeling frustrated and disregarded. Basic customer service and accountability were sorely lacking.

This place is close to the train station so we walked there with our suitcases. It was also easy to walk into the centre of town. The staff are friendly and helpful. Check in was easy. However, the family room is very very small. It was the kind of room where it's too hard for more than one person to walk around. We were there as a family of four with two teenage children. The room was super clean but it felt like we were at summer camp.

Hotel is not easily identified, Parking is behind the building and not easily accessible. Reception Desk is on second Floor of Hotel and not conveniently located to conduct business properly. There are no elevators, and if you have suitcases it's difficult. No climate control in room, and the fan that was in the room was not working properly. Maintenance Staff attempted to do repairs at 8pm as we were settling in for the night. Unfortunately this was not a good experience for us.

Too hot

Hotel was conveniently located about 5 mins walk from the main railway station. Entry door to the hotel is on the ground floor but immediately you need to go up 2 flights of stairs and there is no lift. Check in was fine and we asked for and received our free travel pass for the duration of our stay. Room was clean and tidy as was the bathroom. Included breakfast was ok - choice of about 4 cereals, a variety of breads with ham and cheese, boiled eggs, and fruit juice and tea coffee. However, we arrived in Salzburg in the middle of a heatwave and the room was like a sauna and the only cooling was an ineffective ceiling fan, which got noisier by the day. So, would I stay here again? Possibly, but not in the height of summer.

Good for large families

Only available option in Salzburg for large family accommodations. Paid parking offsite at around 20euro for 24hrs or offsite for ariund 23euro. Not a hard walk to downtown area; did it with small kids. The hotel feels like a hostel with family sized rooms. They offer a small continental type breakfast that does the job. Beds are comfy and clean. Family room came with its own shower and bathroom which was clean and orderly. Overall, would stay again for the convenience and space for the family.

Great location

Budget hotel. Don’t expect a lot. My room was close to reception and the guy there chats on the phone with a loud voice sometimes which was annoying. Family run hotel. Recommended for 1-2 nights for solo travellers or business. Location was in the heart of the city and near the main train station.

I arrived early, but was very warmly welcomed and the signing in process was efficiently handled. There is an arrangement to leave cases, which is very useful. The rooms are basic, but exceptionally clean. The quality of and towels was high.

After reading some reviews online (after already booking) I was worried, we arrived after 4 and the room wasn’t ready, the man on reception quickly gave us a different room, rooms are basic but clean. It was very warm when we arrived but we were able to turn the radiator off and there is a fan in the light too. The area around the hotel looks rundown but it has fantastic transport links and is only a 20minute walk to the tourist areas. I would be happy to stay there again if I return to Salzburg.

So so, probably wouldn't stay there again.

We tried to leave luggage there overnight while we went to a different city but they were very uncooperative and unhelpful, argumentative and made it sound like if we left it there they almost wouldn't guarantee that it would be there when we got back. Also, when I first got there they couldn't seem to find my reservation. It was very noisy from the street till about 1:00 in the morning. The pillows were awful and the twin bed basically had a hole in the middle of it so it couldn't be slept in which made us have to crowd together in a different bed.
