Ilot - Ile de Re

Amazing location and very well positioned apartment overlooking the harbour - great view from 3 large windows to floor. Well equipped kitchen. Bedrooms are fine although small, but each with private bathroom. Great place for 3 groups who want some privacy. Strongly recommended. We have a very good holiday. Hoomy staff and very good.

Great location, shabby apartment

This apartment is in an incredible location, genuinely don't think it could be improved. However, it is in desperate need of some investment, the carpets are filthy, the paintwork is shabby, in general it's really not up to a good standard. There is also a LOT of 'stuff' - ornaments, objects, souvenirs - EVERYWHERE, so the whole place is quite dusty and there's no empty surfaces to put belongings on. We had to pay extra for bedding and towels, which was surprising, as was the fact that we had to make up our own beds when we got there! We were also missing three pillowcases and got no response from VRBO host until the 3rd day, despite us being told they were always available, so we had to sleep on pillows with no cases for 2 nights. Overall, perfect location, wonderful holiday, but the owners need to spend more money on the apartment, and less money on buying stupid ornaments.
