Luxury 3 Bed Home with Heated Swimming Pool, Brand New Air Con and Boules Pitch

NEW FOR 2024 - AIRCON SYSTEM ACROSS THE ENTIRE PROPERTY, BRAND NEW BOULES PITCH AND A SEPARATE CROQUET AREA

Maison Marron is a luxury new-build traditional Perigord style house, which has 3 bedrooms, a private heated swimming pool, newly installed air con system, a Boules Pitch and a croquet pitch.

The property has an open plan living/dining/kitchen area with separate utility room with sink, washing machine and tumble dryer. There is also a separate toilet downstairs. The modern fully fitted kitchen has a breakfast bar with stools and includes dishwasher, Range cooker, Microwave and an American style fridge/freezer with ice maker and water dispenser. Sliding doors lead to a large outdoor covered area with table and chairs for six people. This is a perfect place for outdoor dining with a glass of wine, as it has beautiful views and many stunning sunsets. You can sit under here and watch the family playing boules or croquet with a glass of wine in hand!

The living area has a traditional stone-built fire place with a wood burner. French doors lead out to the front of the house. There is a flat screen TV with both French and English channels. It has large comfy sofas, foot stools, side tables and cosy lamps.

The dining area has a table and chairs for 6 people plus side board. It has french doors leading out to the rear of the house onto a patio and pathway to the pool area. The house and pool area are surrounded by beautiful countryside with extensive outdoor lighting for the evenings, making it the perfect place to unwind and relax.

Upstairs are 3 bedrooms all with extremely comfortable beds. The Master Bedroom has a King size bed, side tables and lamps, chest of drawers, wardrobe, flat-screen TV (with French & English channels), and an en-suite shower room (shower cubicle, double sinks and WC).

The other two bedrooms have two single beds in each, chest of drawers, wardrobe, side tables and lamps. These two bedrooms share a bathroom with a free standing bath, shower cubicle and sink. There is a separate WC. All bedrooms (and lounge areas) have been fitted with a new air-con system ready for the 2024 season - a major improvement we are very excited about!

The pool area features a 10x5m heated swimming pool, outdoor shower, large patio areas with high-quality sun loungers and parasols. There is also a wooden pool house with a covered outdoor seating area featuring sofas, chairs and a coffee table. This space is ideal for lazy days and evenings to take in the beautiful large gardens and surrounding countryside.

Air con has been fully installed in all three bedrooms and the main room downstairs, meaning Maison Marron is fully equipped to ensure you have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

*During peak season we can only accept bookings for a minimum of 7 nights (Saturday to Saturday). Apologies for any inconvenience.

Beautiful house, great location

We had a great week with plenty of walking and visits to the nearby village. The house and pool are fabulous . we took 3 trips to the black duck, which serves lovely (simple) food and (according to my husband) good Guinness. Although the review says there is wifi, it is not very reliable. Everything else about the house is second to none!!

Fantastische locatie

Wat een schitterende locatie om je vakantie door te brengen! Absoluut volledige rust. Een super volledig huis met mooi zwembad (10x5m en verwarmd), petanquebaan, een ruime keuken en alle kamers mooi uitgerust en praktisch. Toch ver genoeg van alles verwijderd, maar centraal gelegen in de Dordogne streek. Een Ierse pub op wandelafstand (ook na enkele Guiness bieren) met een vriendelijke eigenaar. Het enige wat ik echt gemist heb, is airco in de slaapkamers. Maar blijkbaar is die al besteld en komt die ook. Supervriendelijke eigenaar/uitbater. Wat kan een mens nog meer wensen?

Très satisfaite de ma réservation à la maison marron

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour de 2 semaines dans la maison marron. Tout était parfait et conforme à l'annonce. C'était très agréable de se retrouver au calme dans la campagne après cette période de confinement. La maison est neuve tout est propre, en parfait état. La personne en charge de la gestion de la maison est aimable et très serviable ! La localisation est idéale pour visiter cette belle région .

Tout a l’air neuf, très propre, l’équipement électroménager est de haut niveau, la piscine chauffée est très bien placée et sa température est dès le matin à 26 degrés. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques, nous n’avons eu aucun problème. La région est superbe, donc repos autour de la piscine ou visite, on a le choix ! En plus, on peut aller à pied (au black Duck), à moins de 500 mètres. Bref, un super séjour

Le paradis en Dordogne

Nous avons passé une semaine magnifique, un cadre parfait par sa tranquillité, en pleine nature, mais toutes les commodités à moins de 5 minutes (voiture) . Parfait pour un séjour en famille, tout le monde y trouvera du plaisir, et s'y sentira bien. L'accueil s'est très bien passé, et la maison, que dire, tout le confort et même plus. Encore Parfait. Nous recommandons cette location.
