The front desk team was exceptional, friendly, attentive, and professional. While my initial room had some issues with the toilet and bed, the staff responded quickly and moved me to a new room without hesitation. Ammanda, in particular, stood out with her expertise and genuine willingness to help. She handled my concern with care and confidence. Thanks to their outstanding service, I’ll absolutely be staying at this property again.

Staff is very friendly & welcoming, always asking, if i need something. Love it that there is coffee & hot water all day long!! The breakfast was ok.....available until 10 am on weekends. Cheese omelets & bagels.... As for the area, not sure how safe. There are a few homeless. We walked to old Sac and Crocker Art Musuem during the day, about 20 mins. Pleasant walk over the tower bridge At night, not alot of movement on street so if traveling in car, should be fine
Don't forget the free Capital tours!
On the Capital Tour we learnt how this Greek goddess is connected to California history

Generally, the stay was fine. The room above was extremely noisy. Stomping and dropping objects, which interfered with our sleep. Reported it to the front desk, who said that he checked on the guest above us. $16.50/day for parking at this level of hotel in this type of area is way too much.

The room looked like it had not been cleaned. There was greasy stuff all over the ottoman. A huge stain on the couch cushion and the pullout portion where my kids were supposed to sleep was so dirty the floor was a better option.

Though a 'Hilton' property, the check-in staff was dangerously inept. The initial first three calls to confirm that we'd be arriving late should have been a warning. 'Paris' could not find our booking despite being read the confirmation email, and after much searching said that we were already in house...which we were not. When we arrived she sent us to a room that already had guests staying it, and when we went down to change rooms, she did not believe us, and took a long period of time to finally get us another room without sheets for the pull-out bed that we needed another trip to her to get sheets. In the morning, the manager gave the lame excuse that as we booked through a 'third party (Hotels.com)' there was nothing he could do. Sameful customer service and potentially dangerous double booking rooms...do not stay here!

“The room itself appeared clean, but unfortunately housekeeping had missed old food and trash left by the previous guest. We found it in the cabinet under the kitchen sink and in another cabinet near the closet. Since we checked in and quickly left for a concert, we didn’t notice it right away. When we returned around 1 a.m., that’s when we discovered the leftover trash. Because it was just a one-night stay, we didn’t want to bother staff at that hour, but it did make us question the overall cleanliness of the room. If not for that little issue it would have been a perfect stay!
