Welcome to the Gîte de la Muse, a real Alsatian cocoon!
This traditional, modern 3-star gîte is located on the wine route between Colmar and Mulhouse, making it easy for you to explore the whole of Alsace while enjoying a typically Alsatian town.
We offer you a charming 65 m2 half-timbered house in a quiet location in the historic town centre of Rouffach, a medieval town and ‘stork village’. This is your chance to stay in the heart of the Alsace vineyards, in a pleasant, dynamic town with many tourist attractions.
A 5-minute walk away: bakery, restaurants (takeaway sales possible), mini-market, open-air market on Wednesday and Saturday with local produce, pharmacy, winegrower's cellars, tourist office...
The house, ideal for 2 people, can accommodate up to 4 people with the sofa bed (real mattress), it has :
- an open, functional kitchen (Senseo, kettle, pancake machine, raclette, grill, etc.)
- a living room with a study area (books, games, travel guides, etc.)
- a spacious bedroom with a double bed: bed ready on arrival
- a bathroom: towels provided (hairdryer)
- a laundry room with washing machine and all the necessary equipment (iron, etc.)
- a garden with outdoor seating for your meals (deckchairs, barbecue, etc.)
- Secure storage for bicycles
- Bowling and boules available (10-minute walk from the bowling alley)
- Free parking in front of the house
- Bus station and TER station 20 minutes' walk away, ideal for visiting Strasbourg!

Der Aufenthalt
Für uns war es alles sehr schön und der Gastgeber hat sogar noch kurzfristig ein Bettchen für unser Baby vorbei gebracht. Man muss nur vorsichtig sein wenn man die ganzen kleinen krabbeln lässt wegen der steilen Treppengänge. Ansonsten toll hier !
