Grand Lodge Waterpark Resort

The hotel and water park are wonderful. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The "Amenities" list a hot breakfast, but unfortunately there is an added cost for the hot breakfast. It cost me and my 7 year-old $15 for a breakfast buffet that was no better than the free hot breakfasts many other hotels serve. We both left hungry. The grill downstairs serves mediocre hot dogs, pretzels, hamburgers and pizza. A hotel and water park this size should definitely have better restaurants that cater to both kids and parents, alike. I will likely return for a future visit, but will make dinner and breakfast plans elsewhere.

We had a great time with our children (ages 3 and 5) for a quick stay at the Grand Lodge. If you're expecting the Dells, this is not it, BUT the slides, staff and amenities were great for kids our age. We had practically no wait for the water slides and it was easy to grab a chair to put our stuff on. Everyone was pretty communal and easy going. The room itself was quiet and the bed slept great. We didn't hear any noise after quiet hours.

Enjoyed our stay however if your hotel is booked solid you should think about not allowing day passes on these days so your guests have a place to sit and enjoy watching their children without it being so overcrowded.

This place was really close to Granite peak and the hot tub was great to relax in after a long day on the mountain.

We stayed at Great Lodge at the last minute while traveling. What a treat! Reasonable prices (the buffet breakfast was a bargain for a family), friendly staff and clean. Plus, the water park was great fun.

Great spacious, clean room. Liked that we could pick the temperature on thermostat. Only negatives were that the water park wasn't open on the day we stayed (Tuesday) but in trade, the rate was substantially lower which was nice.

We were visiting family in WI and stayed here to give kids something to do that did not involve meeting and greeting. The kids loved the water park and had the greatest time. Water park was not open Sunday afternoon or Monday during our stay and a little surprised by that but our fault for assumming. We were able to use the pool at their sister location so worked out just fine. Managed to get in lots of fun for the 2 days the park was open and really loved the facility. Everyone was super nice and very helpful. We wanted for nothing.

Had shuttle to Granite Peak every hour for skiers. They have a waterpark connected to hotel also. Staff was very helpful and friendly

IT WAS A LOVELY TIME. THEY LET US CHECK IN A LITTLE EARLY, AND WERE VERY NICE AND FRIENDLY. THE ROOMS WERE NICE AND CLEAN, WITH A LARGE TV. IT WAS JUST A VERY NICE TIME.

Hotel was very attractive and clean. Staff was friendly, although they never received my reservation via e-mail, and they were "full" but they did find us a room. Swimming was great for kids under 5 and over 10, they all had a great time and enjoyed the variety. There were not many "double" tubes, so we had to wait every time we wanted to "double up". Breakfast was not very thought out. There were no tables available, we ended up eating in the bar next door, they were out of milk, orange juice, and only had 1 toaster for all of the guests. We waited in line for food for over 15 minutes, ( it was fruit, yogurt, cereal with no milk, and bread and some muffins ) some kids just ate in line, as it was so long to get to the end of the line for the toaster if you were lucky enough to use it. You had to go through the breakfast area to get to the end of the line, and watched over the seated people. Very uncomfortable for all. I reccomend getting to breakfast very early to avoid the rush, or head out of the hotel. We were told upon check in that you can order a "hot" breakfast, but we never had anyone ask to take an order, and we could not find a waitress. This was disappointing. The hotel was fun, the snack bar was reasonably priced, overall a good experience minus breakfast.

[...] the hotel made it right. Could have been a bad start. The hotel bent over backwards to make it right for us. If you have young kids who like to swim, this is a nice waterpark.

We had a great time! The service was excellent. The waterpark had age appropriate activites for our 1 year old and 4 year old. Mom and dad had fun as well. The location was good with a grocery, stores and restaurants very close. We would definitely stay again.

Cool Water park. Great staff. Good location. All you need is close by. The only down side; was the information they have in the books in the rooms; is a little out of date. No big deal; We had a great time. Would stay here again; even if it was a stop on a larger trip. GREAT VALUE through ORBITZ!

The Lodge at Cedar Creek was just off the highway in it's own entertainment type area - there is a very good restaurant in the hotel, but others outside, small outlet mall, gorcery store, movie theater, all within walking distance. The staff was wonderful & very friendly. The water park are was great. I would definately recommend the Lodge at Cedar Creek.

THIS WAS THE FIRST TRIP MY GRANDDAUGHTER COULD TAKE WITH US. SO WE WANTED IT TO BE SPECIAL,IT WAS!!! I DON'T FEEL DISNEYLAND COULD HAVE MADE HER HAPPIER. THE ROOM MADE US ALL HAPPY TWO TVS,TWO QUEEN SIZE BEDS AND A PULL OUT. PLUS TWO SINKS,FRIDE AND MICROWAVE. WHAT A WONDERFUL TRIP.

The Lodge at Cedar Creek was very family friendly, the rooms were very large and comfortable. The dining was great it was right in the hotel, so you did not have to travel anywhere to eat. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.
