"This was absolutely the perfect place for a getaway in the Shenandoah! Great location for hiking White Oak Canyon, Old Rag, or just to play in the creeks and rivers nearby! The property was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay (just bring food and movies!). Parking and check in were easy. The firepit and grill were a lot of fun to use and I got some spectacular moon shots through my telescope. Being disconnected from the demands of the online world was such a peaceful break and so necessary. Bill was very helpful and responsive whenever I messaged him for anything, thank you very again for booking my stay when I couldn’t book it on any platforms. 10/10 host, property, location, vacation. I would love to come back one day, it was perfect!For any prospective bookers, remember, you are in the woods. You are in the home of the creatures that live in the forest and you are visiting. Just enjoy it and make some new tiny friends and get over your own ridiculous fears of little creatures lol. The few moths that got into the house were easy to remove with a cup or your hand and fun to identify. Download Inaturalist and discover the beauty of who lives around you."

"Rosaline is a very attentive and accommodating host. The house is beautifully settled in the woods and is perfectly outfitted with everything you need. Having firewood and coffee pods ready was a really nice touch. Great space and plenty of room for our family of four and the hot tub was a great way to relax after hiking. Would definitely stay here again. Five star experience all the way from booking to checkout."

"Very nice accommodations. Easy to get to and off the main road which is nice so that you can get around the mountains. Amenities were very nice. Even coffee was available. Beds were comfortable and the living space was plenty for a large group if you needed it."
