Extremely helpful and amazing staff at the reception. Mr Stefano Serafini was exceptional. Very polite and professional in his manners with huge knowlegde about nearest restaurants and area in general. Mr Serafini helped me to find way to get myself to terme della Ficoncella searching the ways of getting there for almost 30 minutes! This is how I would like every front office member to be! If you want to eat great, spend amazing time and be in the centre of Rome you should definately choose this hotel. If every person in this hotel is like Stefano that is probably the best hotel ever!! Thank you again !

This place is not even close to a four star experience. The hotel is run-down with a quite bad breakfast and rooms with a very spartan standard. It is noisy and with hard beds. Could be a diamond but is just a pile of coal now. The staff is really nice and the location is good!

The location is perfect and rooms quiet apart from those with windows overlooking the street. Also it is a very clean place. The reason for my rating is the breakfast - very poor quality although the choice is big. Nothing tastes nice😞. Coffee was the biggest dissapintment. The filter one was really bad and the machine one had powder milk so white coffee tasted awfully.

The only reason I gave this hotel 1 star is because of the location. It is a 5 min walk to the Colosseum, the Trevi Fountain, The Forum and the Altare della Patria. The hotel is very dated and it is advertised on expedia as a smoke free property, but was not. Someone on our floor seemed to be constantly smoking and it filled our room so much that we could hardly breathe. I opened the window hoping it would help, but our room faced an alley where a pub was located (smokers stood outside as well) and it was very loud as well as it being adjacent to the street which was also extremely loud. So, opening the window did not help and we hardly got any sleep. I asked the front desk person for another room, but it did not happen until the next day. It is advertised having a bar, but there was not a bar. It was a sitting room where I think drinks were served, but we never saw anyone drinking in there and no liquor was present in the room. We were moved one room over and the smoke smell was slightly less, but when we returned later in the evening there was a horrible sewage type smell coming from the bathroom. It was late and we were leaving the next day early so we closed the bathroom door, but when you entered the bathroom it was horrible. There is a breakfast buffet, which is ok. If you are vegans forget it, there is not much for you. We are Vegantarians (flexible vegans) so we ate pastries and bread. Neither were stellar and the bread was very hard. The coffee was good. The staff was friendly, but the only thing going for this hotel is the location.

Hotel is in fabulous location right near Colosseum and Roman Forum and other sights. Breakfast not so good - nearly broke my teeth on a roll! Staff were helpful and polite. Bed was comfortable. Mostly spotlessly clean but downside was filthy air vent and rotten bottom of bathroom door. Would stay again.

We spent 7 nights. The room we had for the first night was awful. It was on the 1st floor and faced the street. You could hear the traffic, the toilet barely worked, mattresses were soft and the shower stall was quite small. The next day we were moved to a room on the 2nd floor facing the back. This room was a vast improvement. Shower stall was bigger, mattresses firmer, toilet worked well and the room was very quiet. The staff was excellent and they went out of their way to help. Location was also excellent. The breakfast buffet was quite good. I would stay here again only if I was guaranteed one of the better rooms facing the back.

Stayed 3 nights at this hotel and I would say that it’s just ok. If your just looking for a place to sleep while your checking out all the sights than this place is ok. It’s in a great central location very close to the coliseum and we walked to everything including the Vatican. The rooms are very small and the elevator is only big enough for one person with luggage. It’s a closet that moves up and down. The breakfast is a joke and the food was awful. The staff working the breakfast hate there job and were no help, tables were left dirty and food was cold. Located on a very busy street so you need to be very careful crossing the road.

I have to say a fab little hotel so well situated so close to everything I found the staff lovely and most helpful and nothing was a problem we traveled with three children and we had two rooms side by side with an outside door in the lobby which allowed us to leave our suitcases there as the rooms are tidy but perfectly adequate. It's a lovely hotel lovely bar around the corner so central it's not a five star but very good value for money. Would stay again. Walking distance to everything which is a great plus.

Beautiful location. Lovely restaurants close by and staff were very nice. I stayed here for three days with my family and we had a lovely time. The rooms were nice too. It’s about 10 minuets walk away from the colosseum and very close to all the tour bus stops too.

In my opinion this isn't a hotel, just maximum a hostel. Deserves no star. The stuff was unpolite. Don't believe the management photos, I don't know where were they taken. It is really hard for me to remember even the one thing that was good in this hotel. Anyway, my biggest impression was food, which was more than terrible, no coffee, no water, no fruit, no vegetables, just some bread. A lot of money per night for a terrible hotel in Rome. After 40 days we didn’t receive any response.
