This hotel was overall a great experience. Pros: - Hotel is very central to most sights so being able to walk anywhere within 20-30 mins is always a plus. - The staff was always friendly and helpful. - they helped with moving our luggage to our rooms because the elevators were very small. - they helped getting a taxis for us to the airport and it’s a flat fee. Cons: I have 2 complaints about the room: - the room’s refrigerator wasn’t very cold at all, leaving a soda in there overnight didn’t make it very cold, more like cool. - Second is the AC controls were confusing, the sensor didn’t do a good job sensing so temperature was hard to control. The hotel’s breakfast wasn’t very good. The scrammed eggs were over cooked and dried. The bacon was a lot saltier than what Americans were use to. Boiled eggs were not consistent, one day it was fully boiled, next was softly boiled. One other thing which isn’t the hotels fault was that we have no ideal what goes on with the governments activities, one night at 2AM, the military were practicing parade drills on the street for about an hour or 2. They were very loud and our room happened to face the street. So keep in mind if your going to Rome the weeks before June 2 (which is some celebration they do annually), be prepared for drills in the middle of the night and possibility street clourses midday. Overall my wife and I had a great experience at this hotel and would recommend it to others.
