Don’t book this hotel. The condition of the rooms are very poor, dirty bathrooms,AC doesn’t work well, very complicated to access the hotel,nobody at the front desk any time,wifi doesn’t work. There is a WhatsApp number but they dont have answers when you ask question like “why the wifi doesn’t work?”. There are much better accommodations in Rome for the same price! Very disappointing
After several attempts to have Expedia and the property owner resolve the issue I experienced, I finally gave up. I was charged the full price of this booking even though the following occurred:
I received the wrong itinerary. I booked a 3 day stay, the info I received was for 5 days and under another name. When I arrived at the property, I called the number, but i was unable to reach anyone. So this meant that after traveling across the world, I was left with no confirmed room and no one available to help resolve the issue.
The location itself is hard to find. Upon finding the building you will encounter a tiny elevator that is not ideal for travelers with luggage. Once you make it up, there is another flight of stairs that you must walk up with through the tiniest of doors. Once I made it to the rooms, I found no one on site and a number to call, but no one who responded. Because I was given the wrong itinerary, I ran the risk of someone walking into my room at any time, and no one on hand to support if an issue should arise. This is not safe and Expedia will not take accountability for lack of vetting or facilitating this scam.
I decided to leave the property because it was not safe to stay. I called Expedia to help resolve the issue and they refused to take accountability, repeatedly stating that they are unable to contact the property owner and are unable to refund me for this terrible experience. I can relate, I was also unable to reach the owner. Unacceptable!
