Great, updated room. Felt like my own little apartment in the city. Location is perfect for train station and public transit
First off this is NOT your typical hotel (with over 50 rooms etc....), in fact not at all. The residence in question only occupies a renovated portion of an entire floor of an old Rome building (but still in a decent shape). My room (room number 6) was modern, well appointed with a small fridge, flat screen tv (with many many italian channels but did not find any English channel except for Music channels) and good Wifi. Massimo and her assistant are very helpful and responsive but make sure you inform them of your arrival time ahead of time (because there is no formal reception). Breakfast is continental so do not expect any salad nor any fruits but the coffee (can be made to order) is fine, packaged croissants and bread are decent. There also is yogurt, butter and jam and even nutella. Another good aspect of this residence is the super convenient location, walkable to almost every interesting Rome site plus the massive Termini train station is less than a five minute walk away (maybe 5 minutes).
Located in Rome City Centre within a 5-minute walk of Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore, Roman Residence is within a mile (2 km) of other popular attractions like Roman Forum. This 6-room, 3-star guesthouse welcomes guests with free breakfast, free in-room WiFi, and free self parking.
Free buffet breakfast is included with your stay and awaits you each morning from 7:30 AM to 11 AM. At the end of the day, unwind with a drink at the bar/lounge.
Guests can expect free WiFi and LCD TVs with cable channels. Beds are dressed in pillow menus and bathrooms offer hair dryers and free toiletries. Free minibar items, coffee makers, and safes are other standard amenities.
Guests of Roman Residence enjoy free WiFi in public areas, coffee in a common area, and a library. There's free parking, and an airport shuttle (available 24 hours) for EUR 50 per vehicle roundtrip. The front desk has multilingual staff that can help with dry cleaning/laundry, securing valuables, and tours or tickets. Additional amenities include express check-in, express check-out, and laundry facilities.
