The hotel was decent, very outdated but it worked. My only complaint was the bed, it had to be at least 20 years old and offered no support or comfort. I wouldn't stay here for more than a night or two in the future.
This hotel is ideally situated for visiting the Vatican or nearby shopping and restaurants.Cipro Metro Station is just a few minutes walk to travel further around Rome. Also just a few minutes walk is the Trionfale Market which is fantastic,I bought Salami,Lemons,Chillis,Cheeses to bring home to Ireland....best market anywhere. At the hotel the staff are very friendly and the rooms are very good.I lost my camera bag on arrival in Rome and the staff could not have been more helpful, both on the day and with follow up emails for my travel insurance....this was our second stay and we can't wait to return !!!!!!
I had to cancel a weekend I booked at this hotel for a couple if days in may 2018 that I had prepaid . I have to say that the administration staff were very understanding and after a couple of emails the money was refunded to my account. I will visit this hotel in the future as I want to go to Rome and because of the professional way my situation was dealt with, I will book this hotel. GRAZIE MILLE Irene. Nora Corcoran.
It snowed in Rome...and all flights cancelled home to the Uk. However, the staff were friendly, helpful and reassuring...We had a wonderful extended break at this excellent hotel that is close to Metro ( underground ) and access to good restaurants and bars ( 2min or 5 min walk ). I would highly recommend and very reasonably priced.
We've just returned from 3 nights the hotel does look tired and could do with a lick of paint but the room we stayed in was clean and comfortable. The reception staff and the waiter at breakfast were very friendly. We would certainly say use the metro .Beautiful place lots to visit
The hotel staff are brilliriant, friendly and very helpful. Reception staff are always on hand and want the best for their customer. The waiters in the restaurant are extremely aware of customer needs and one in particular, Maurizio, needs to be mentioned because he is a talented young chap who loves to serve and loves people to enjoy their experience, including the food he cooks when required. He is a hardworking and passionate individual who is dedicated to making sure customer is king. The hotel rooms are clean, spacious and whilst there are no tea making facilities, there is everything else you could need. The room we had, had a small juliette balcony but overlooked a child play area which is fine but nothing to shout about. The real deal is in the city sights and lots of walking is involved so take flat shoes because there are a lot of cobbles. Dont take a taxi unlesss you absolutely have to, the Metro is just fine.
It is a bit old and needs remodeling. Originally we got a very small room and we asked to change and they did so without any problem, the next day, since they were full the first night. The catch here i was that we left very early the next day (and we forgot about the move). The hotel staff took the initiative to move all of our luggage and things as we left them and placed them exactly in the same place into the new spacious room. Our passports and extra money stayed in the 1st room safe. When we got back we were very surprised and grateful that NOTHING was missing and the bell boy opened the original room (which had been already occupied) and we found our passport and money intact. A Very trustworthy staff MAKES IT A 5 STAR grade Hotel!!! Plus it is very near the Vatican City, if visiting it.
Rooms clean but a bit dated. Hotel staff are very helpful. there is a Great buffet breakfast selection and nice to sit out in breakfast terrace if it's warm. Hotel is a 20 minute walk from Vatican City and museum. The Vatican museum is a must see in Rome, it's absolutely stunning.
Lovely staff who were always helpful and happy to do anything for you.The hotel itself was clean, tidy and comfortable, all you need when in Rome. The decor was rather tired and carpets had seen better days, but how often do you sit and stare at the carpet? All in all we enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.
Everything was falling apart like the doors were ruined, the lights tuned off every 10 minutes, the bathroom door didn't lock,we didn't have heat for the 3 out of 5 days, mediocre breakfast and rude staff except for two people.Worst hotel I've been to.
