Property is in a very accessible area for dining and shopping. Rooms are nice size (suites). The rooms were clean and nice. I’m providing some ideas to improve the place. The entrance door is very small; thus makes it difficult for suitcases to pass through it. Lighting in the bathroom very dim. I did not find the control for heating in the room. The first day I arrived it was cold and couldn’t higher the temperature in the room. A land line phone to communicate with the person in charge of the hotel would help instead of using my personal cell to call them.

Great communication prior to arrival. Rooms are really spacious and clean. Nice touch to have some cakes and coffee in the lounge area, there were tbags but no milk. Good location, not far from Pantheon and Trevi Fountain and about half an hour walk to the Colleseum and Vatican City.

The pros: - Well situated and easy to navigate around Rome from - Attractive high ceilings and Italian decoration - Easy access and checkin - Nice bathroom - Aircon The cons: - It’s basically a converted room in an apartment with a shared living space with multiple other rooms. You could hear other guests very easily and one night we even had one playing loud music until the early hours - Missing a lot of things you’d expect for the price point. Room has a small hotel safe but wasn’t even bolted down (you could literally pick it up so useless), sofa was missing the cushions so when you sat on it you could feel the springs, minibar charge for everything including water (only included thing was coffee and they had some cake in the communal area but in the 4 days we were there they never changed so no idea how long they’d been there) - No staff on site aside from to clean. You checkin using a code and your room keys are left in the communal area, you checkout by leaving them in the room along with the city tax in cash and any money you owe for the minibar Not a bad property by any means but having visited Rome a dozen times in the last ten years I’ve stayed in much better places for the money.

We loved the charm of this property. Our room was perfect. We did have some issue with internet connection to the tv; it required reconnecting every morning but that was minor. Also the elevator was out to this third floor for one day; it was promptly fixed thank goodness. The only staff we saw was the cleaning person who was very friendly. Email inquiries regarding the tv and elevator were answered quickly.

We stayed at Navona Grand Suite's over the Easter period, we stayed in the Marcello Scapucci room, which was absolutely lovely, we had a balcony which over looked the courtyard, the huge bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was large and had everything you needed. The best thing about these suites was the location, literally 3 minute walk to Piazza Navona where you will find plenty of places to eat and drink, with only a 10-15 min walk to The Spanish Steps / Pantheon / Trevi Fountain. There are bus stops very close by which take you directly to the Colussem(20 mins), I would highly recommend these suites to anyone planning a long weekend or mid-week break.
