We booked this hotel as it seemed like a central location. It is, if you can find your way around. Easier to use the metro rather than walk. On arrival, the entrance hall is quite grim but the man who met us there was very friendly. We got our key and went up to the 6th floor. It's an old building with an old fashioned elevator. Our room was very basic, quite dark but very clean. That evening we were sharing the hotel with a school trip. The noise was terrible, running up and down corridors, shouting outside our door. Around midnight I emailed down to reception (our phones didn't work) and with all credit to whoever was on duty, someone did come up and deal with the noisy guests. Next morning we headed to the breakfast room. It's not very inviting. We were first there. Took the first table near to a continental buffet. We weren't sure to help ourselves or not. Before we had a chance the school kids were down. It was like a stampede. We thought we better grab something in case there was nothing left! There didn't seem to be any staff around. We had a coffee and a pastry. But with the kids pushing into the buffet, we made a sharp exit. I'm not sure if a cooked breakfast was on its way or whether they hotel only offer continental. We weren't arou d long enough to find out. Overall it was fine. The noisy guests were not down to the hotel. This is a very basic hotel. But it's clean and reasonably central

The hotel is not a 4-star so don't expect a full luxury bedroom but it is honestly well enough to spent less than a week in Roma. The room is quite clean with everything you need (bed, dresser, table and a little fridge), the bathroom was a little dirty but was okay for just a few days. His big advantages are the staff (very very nice people) and the location. You're approximately at 8min by walk from the Republicca metro line and 10min from Termini Bus/Metro station (which is good as you usually arrive to Termini from the airport).

I have stayed three nights at this hotel from 24th to 26th of Dec 2017. The first two nights at a room on the fifth floor for 24th and 25th Dec. The room was cold due to the defect of the heater, and the cigarette smell that came to the room from poor air conditioner from the next door room and the carpet was so dirty. Also, there was a pigeon nest upon of my room, and their noise was bothering. I asked the hotel staffs to change my room and they gave me another room at the third floor next to the breakfast room for the third night. This room was smaller, but not smelly, cold and dirty like the later one. If you want to book a room at this hotel, you should think about whether they give you a decent room or something disastrous.

The location of the hotel near Termini makes it very accessible to the heart of Rome. The rooms are clean and the service is friendly. The only drawback perhaps is that the facilities look a little dated.

Actually the place was quite okay for the money, but I cannot accept that sheets weren't changed. Apparently there was a lady (we were told so by the night manager) sleeping in the room for a night before our party of 2 arrived. We could see clearly that the sheets had not been changed after the person had slept there, there were wrinkles and quite a lot of hair on the sheets. Yuck. The cleaners were really nice, so was all the other staff but come on, giving guests used sheets? The lack of warm water in the last evening was also a great discomfort, we had to move to another room the next morning to be able to take showers. It took longer obviously and we missed our bus to the airport. We had to spend extra money for another bus to catch our flight. Also we barely slept in the first and last nights due to the problems mentioned above. The room had a good size. To be fair I must say if the sheets had been clean and the water hot in the last 2 days I would have given at least 4 stars for the place in relation to the costs.

Stayed here for 3 nights in September. Close to termini approx 10 min walk. Hotel was clean and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Room was perfect. Small but clean, modern, cosy and had ac and a small tv. Did the job for what we wanted. We chose the most basic room but overall we were extremely happy with our stay. Highly recommend.

It was pleasant stay at this hotel. Hotel staff was friendly. It is just 10 min walk to Colosseum. 5 min walk to Rail Station. Very peaceful place. And yes value for money. just 3 min walk to nearest metro station.

Stay away from this place. Our rooms were robbed while we were away. We filed a report with the local police, but the owner disappeared with the excuse that the insurance was taking a long time to respond. Obviously we never heard back from them. Wifi was working only a couple of hours a day. TV was black, One of the bathroom lamp fell off the ceiling overnight. Breakfast "Buffet" is a joke. Shady place and dishonest owner. A scam!

For the price, the hotel is located really close to Termini station, Fontana di Trevi, Villa Borghese and Piazza Venezia. We went everywhere by foot (except Trastevere). It took us about 15 minutes to get to Termini and Fontana di Trevi and around 25 minutes to Piazza Venezia. Since public transportation is not very good in Rome, it was super important to us to find a hotel, on a budget, that is located fairly close to all the major sightseeing attractions. The staff was really friendly, the room was really clean. The cleaning ladies cleaned our room everyday and left us clean sheets and towels every 2 days. We had wifi in our rooms (included in the price), TV and air-condition as well as a private bathroom which was all we needed to be honest. Breakfast was quite nice and very cheap for Rome, with multiple choices (sweet pastry, cornflakes, bread, jam, butter, tea, coffee...) However, we wish there was some savory options for breakfast, the sweets got a little overwhelming after 5 days.. Also we wish we had a mini bar in our room so we could store some food and water. Other than that, if you are looking for a accommodation in Rome for a low price in a good location, we recommend La Luna Romana.

Went to Rome for our anniversary. La Luna has got really good location and prices. It is clean and hotel staff is friendly. They also can speak English! The only thing which should be improved are breakfasts
