10 min walk to major bus stop and 15 bus ride into town. Hotel was great, pretty clean but few scuff marks on walls. Housekeeping every day was great. Quiet at night so no issues sleeping. They like you to charge all food and drink as they don't carry much cash and prefer you to settle up by card when you check out. Breakfast definitely worth the money, lots of variety and all you can eat!! Would definitely recommend
Beautiful hotel, well maintained gardens, very good location! Friendly staff and excellent breakfast for 6 euros! The city, Rome, is very dirty, I am sorry to say it but is very dirty everywhere, except the city center! We stayed for one week, but I belive two days in Rome is more than enough! Just to visit the historical monuments! I was not impressed about the food, no service in the restaurants! I had better pasta and pizza everywhere I ve been before! The traffic is horrible and the public transport a joke!
This hotel is located in a nice part of Rome, you can travel by bus into the center and buy bus tickets from the reception. The hotel is very clean and well air conditioned and secure. There is a nice restaurant with outdoor and indoor seating and a bar. The staff are friendly and are able to answer questions about the city. The room was spacious and the bathroom was nice, the only negative is very thin walls, you will be able to hear next door fairly clearly.
The hotel is in a really nice area of Rome and quiet. It has great public transport connection to the city center (buses). The room were great for 2 people, beds are comfortable, the bathroom is clean. Once we had a problem with the window, but thanks for the helpful and friendly staff, they fixed it soon. ;) I would recommend this hotel, but prepare yourself for paper thin walls! Only negative were the walls. We heard the television from the neighbour's room and also woke up 5 am when they left the hotel. :/ Despite of this everything was great.
We stayed in this hotel for the weekend 12th and 13th of May and we loved the hotel, staffs are very helpful at the reception desk they are up to do everything to help. Hotel is very clean, bed is very comfortable and the breakfast is fantastic if you book this hotel do pay a little extra for breakfast because it is really worth the money. If you want to have lunch or dinner in the hotel restaurant the food is good however they do not have many dish options. The hotel is located a bit far from city centre, it is about 30 minutes by bus but the bus link is really good. If you do not mind a bit of distance from the crowd or is looking for a place to have a quiet evening after a busy day doing tours go for this hotel it is excellent price for what you get. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone that is looking for a good value for money but st
I had a very bad impression and very disappointed (that was not my first visit to Rome and its hotels/guesthouses/campings), Hotel employees from the beginning in general were not friendly to us -there was no even a smile or a wish for comfort staying. My request for an iron and a cattle in the room (or at least to use once or twice) was completely rejected - the manager said that for the interets of security they did not provide smoothing iron/or a place for an iron or a cattle to guests - that is not like in other numerous of hotels worldwide I ever visited. They we checked in there was no shampoo in the bathroom. The room was cleaned just once per 3 days there. The shower is very poor in a sense that the water is falling just a bit - means no comfort at all for having a shower. Towels were provided just dusty. I booked a single room for me and my little daughter of 6 who got used to sleep with me and we did not need an extra bed in the room (I noticed that when booking and did not receive any objection). - However I was forced by the manager to pay up to the double room extra 72 Euro (that was explained again as "per la Sua sicurrezza, Signora") and even did not receive any comfort at all from that place. However it's strange that the TV, hairdryer and freezer were provided in the room - despite of any safety... No breakfast for the price was proposed, no even a tea with a cake in the morning. The price of the accomodation we paid could include at least some tea. And finally, walls were very thin - we could hear all that was happening in the neighbour rooms: snoring, farting, coughing... and the worst was that at 7 am the noise of rooms service cleaning from the corridor. Our room at the first floor was very dark and no flowers in as at the hotel photos. Do not recommend!
We went to stay at the lovely hotel for my husband's 70th Birthday. While is was a 20 minute bus ride from the centre of Rome, it was a great peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The restaurant provided a breakfast at 6 euro, this is buffet style with a mainly continental slant, plenty to fill up before days of sightseeing. Evening meals range from 9 to 12 Euros for a main meal and it wholesome and tasty, also they have a daily 3 course menu for 18 euros Up on the second floor is a beautiful chapel that is perfect for a moment of quiet Overall, this is a stylish welcoming hotel where you rest and refresh, be well fed, and not too far away from the city.
I stayed in this hotel for several nights during my trip to Rome in March 2017. The hotel is located rather far from the city centre but there is a bus nearby that goes to the centre in 20mins. There is a coffee shop with amazing pastries round the corner (Pasticceria Bompiani - Via Benedetto Bompiani, 8), as well as a good cheese and proschiutto shop right next to it. The room was quiet, beds comfortable, bathroom clean. Wi-Fi worked with no problems. The breakfast was good - a couple of sorts of cheese and ham, cereals, scrambled eggs, jams and honey, butter, bread, pancakes, coffee and cocoa, orange juice. I ate in the hotel's restaurant 2 times and both times it was a good meal - nothing spectacular but tasty and hearty. I had there beef tagliata and pork under orange sauce. The staff was helpful whenever we needed it to call for a taxi and other stuff.
Everything you need in a hotel with easy access to the Rome city centre. Quiet and right next to the catacombs. A small bar downstairs and a restaurant. Very helpful multi lingual staff. Restaurant didn't have the greatest selection but the food they had was really good.
We were staying on the 3rd floor during our first night. Between 9 and 10pm we noticed a loud crashing sound coming from around the room. When I caller to reach the reception on a few occasions, noone answered so I went downstairs. Nobody was at reception but, what I presumed was, a nightporter came forward to ask what I needed. I told him a loud banging noise, sounding like crashing crockery was coming from around the room. He responded in a manner with shrugged shoulders which appeared to suggest there was little he could, or wanted to do, and that my desire for a relaxing time spent in my room was a request too far. It turned out it was probably the kitchen so he told me I'd have to wait until at least 7am to be re-accomodated tomorrow. I know earlier this evening I'd heard loud screaming coming from the restaurant; its still a good 70 yards from the room but there are no doors separating the restaurant and the guest rooms. The noise was one concern; the way in which it was dealt was was another. Had this never have happened, it could have been a pleasant stay.
