visited this hotel on a women's retreat. although the hotel looked very nice and clean, with a beautiful lay out the behaviour and attitude by evening staff that myself and the other ladies recieved surpassed the niceties. as said, the worse of it came during our evenings meals from the evening staff serving in the restaurant. one man in particular was very aggressive and rude in his tone and demeanour. At one point during the holiday we were ushered down to a basement room to eat. This room was cold and all our food that was brought out was cold too. When we brought this to staff's attention nothing was done to rectify this. Thankfully the rest of the hotel staff was lovely. However, the evening restaurant staff would benefit from customer service training.
Nice quiet hotel - not far from the city. We had rented a car and was just a 10 minute drive. Hotel offered free parking which was great! Rooms were clean and during our stay had very little noise. A little dated but nothing to complain about - still very comfy! Reception staff need some training on how to deal with guests - would say they were borderline rude. Funnily, breakfast staff were the complete opposite - didn’t speak much English but went out of their way to help! Really nice having them greet you each morning!
Nice hotel. Right in the center of Roma. Fontana di Trevi, Piazza di Spagna and so many things...it was awesome. Very nice hotel that offered breakfast that was never utilized since each day we were out on tour before 0700. But definitely would recommend.
We stayed there for few days for businesses, and although we didn't spend too much time in the hotel, the staff from the bar area and restaurant were really nice and friendly specially Sabrina, who helped us with directions and few quick tips to enjoy the city.
I stayed three nights for a conference. The hotel is located away from the city. There is a bus with a regular timetable from the hotel and vice versa to the Vatican City. The price of ticket is favorable but in some times it is difficult to find a seat and should take the next schedule. Conferences room and organization were good. The breakfast was open buffet with an average choices. Rooms in good condition and bathrooms with completed facilities. The pool is open only for summer and can be used against payment. Near the hotel has no facilities to relax as pubs,or populated areas unless you take bus lines that have the stop in front of the hotel. 200 m from the hotel is a very fun sports complex with an average price ticket. The hotel is favorable for large tourist groups who have good transport facilities and favorable prices. Next to him are two other hotels. From and to the airport I recommend to order a taxi or transport by the hotel reception because in many cases you could be a victim of unlicensed taxi drivers and they could charge 70 euros or more instead of 50 or 45.
I went to this hotel as part of a tour package by Europamundo. We were about 40 people, and at least three of us were robbed something from our rooms. It was a blouse for me and a charger for someone else. We both complained to the desk separately, and the next day our things were "mysteriously" placed in a corner. The third person who didn't complain didn't get her things back. Other than that, they had not input my mother's name for her room in their system, so when I arrived early, they told me she wasn't registered at the hotel. After an hour of back and forth and contacting the tour company, they found my mother and aunt's name on a printed paper sheet. I went to bed, and when my mom arrived at midnight, they did the whole thing all over again. "You're not in this hotel." The driver argued with them in Italian, and finally they re-found them once more. Seriously bad organization. Breakfast food was good, the restaurant is a bit expensive but food and service was good if a little slow. They also have a shuttle to the Vatican for €2, which is very appreciated since the hotel is very far away from everything. Rooms were comfortable, and the bed was nice. Again, make sure to use the safe and lock your luggage. It felt to me like these people stole from us hoping we wouldn't notice, and because we did, gave our things back.
After reading the reviews I am unsure if we stayed at the same Hotel as other posters. Stayed for two nights, arrived late Friday Aug 11th, around 9:45 pm. The staff stayed till midnight to serve us drinks, they normally go home at 10:00 pm so it was nice of them to stay longer. They offered to have food made up but we declined as it was getting late. The room was clean and comfortable and the next day the staff was very helpful providing information and assistance whenever we approached the front desk. The breakfast buffet was adequate and the shuttle bus was on time. We returned in time for Happy Hour and the staff from the night before greeted us with smiles and laughter. We had the pizza and pasta by the bar area and it was very good. Servers asked us many times if we needed anything else. We did not pay for WIFI and the enjoyed the pool the final day for $5 Euro which was not a big deal. We were always greeted with smiles and the staff was very helpful, we did not have the same experiences as others that were there and enjoyed our stay.
The hotel is in a strange location, off the beaten path but not too far from the main highways. It makes a good first impression - the lobby and lobby restaurant/bar look really nice. When we arrived there were 5 people behind the desk, with one helping another traveler. No one looked up at us until we got to the counter. The woman who checked us in was nice, but not friendly, if that makes sense. We were too early for the room so went to lunch in the lobby restaurant. The waiter sat us right away and the service was fine. Again, not friendly, but okay. The choices for lunch were extremely limited, a bit overpriced and disappointing. The chicken Caesar salad had maybe canned chicken? It definitely wasn't fresh chicken. The room was more like an American hotel room so it was larger with a bathtub. It was fine except the carpet was disgusting. It was so stained. A nice perk was that they put our luggage in our room while we were eating lunch. Later that evening, we decided to go to their happy hour. We stood at the bar for a while until we finally flagged down a waitress. She told us to sit and that she would wait on us. After our initial drinks, we really wanted another drink. She and another server came through the outside restaurant several times but never came over to us. So after a long while, I got up and hunted her down to get another drink. She was very friendly when she was waiting on us, even brought our beer in a bucket of ice since I told her I liked really cold beer. It seems that the staff needs training on how to be friendly and attentive to guests.
Been here for less than a day and am very disappointed. Staff not very friendly and not very welcoming. Ordered a drink and took a long time to arrive. When we wanted to pay the bill it took ages for the staff to process this and were stood talking without notifying us with what was going on. Ordered room service , a chicken Cesar salad and pizza. Chicken was not proper or fresh, and they forgot to give cutlery which I had to go to reception for. I was not even given an apology. 7 Euro extra charge on top of room service price and had to go down to reception and pay straight away. Have to pay for wifi and pool. Would not say this is a 4 star hotel.
In the middle of nowhere . No Airco thats working . Old en dirty hotel . Nobody smiles ore help you . Swimming pool you have to pay Shutlle is driving last time at 22:15h.Full is full en then you have to walk to te hotel . No store ore restaurant in the aerea . .
