We stayed at the Nord Nuova Roma in March 2017 as part of a Jet2 long weekend break. Check-in was a painless process: the staff were welcoming and efficient. Room 344 was a not large but more than sufficient to hold a large double bed and storage furniture. A kettle with tea/coffee was provided - a pleasant surprise, because we have found other Italian hotels do not do this and so brought our own. Free wifi and free use of the mini-bar to store our own drinks. The bathroom was very spacious and, like the room, maintained to a good standard. The French windows opened onto a side road which was quiet throughout. Breakfast, served between 6.30 and 10.30, was good with a range of cold meats, cheese, etc, and cereals, scrambled eggs, etc for those missing home. Rome has a decent underground and the hotel is five minutes away from the main station. An excellent experience for a short stay.
I was stay here in March. Near to Termini just 5 min walk. Is is near to attractions by 20 min walk. Hop on Hop off buses are around the corner. Breakfast was good both in quality and quantity. Poor wifi but clean room and bed. Also be careful about pickpockets around Termini specially at night.
Booked a 3 bed room for myself, my partner and his mother to celebrate her 50th! Was a bit dubious to be sharing a room with my mother in law, but when we arrived, we got a 1 bed room with a seperate living space which had the third bed in! Perfect! Bathroom was lovely, the shower was amazing! After a long day of walking around, we were so excited to get home to a super hot power shower before bed! Our room had a little balcony too, we didn't have any views from it, but was lovely to have the doors open onto it for fresh air and feel the ambience of where we were! Location is exactly where you need to be! Termini is 2 mins away, trevi fountain is 15 mins away, colesseum 20 mins away, Vatican about an hour away but can be walked to by passing other lovely sites! The room also had a fridge which was fab, we bought a 12 pack of water so we had a bottle each for each day we were here and the fridge kept them cool! The breakfast, which was included, was also lovely! Cheese, ham, bread, cereal, yogurt, pastries, fruit, coffee and juice...plenty to keep you full until dinner! All in all, it's the only hotel I will be staying at when I come back!
The hotel is close to main train terminal in Rome and close to Hop On & Off bus stops; staff are very helpful and breakfast a good start to the day. View from our rooms was really nice. Note whilst told transport would be the same prices a taxi if the Hotel organised it -it was more expensive. I would recommend staying here.
This hotel was the recommended one for a conference I attended that was held in the museum next door. It's very conveniently located close to the main Termini station (~5 minute walk at most). We stayed on the second floor and it was a bit noisy in the mornings but not until around 7am. Breakfast is included and there were lots of options: eggs, pastries, cereal, sliced meat, fruit, etc. On a couple of the days we did have to wait for breakfast because the dining room was full. It's only about a 20 minute walk from here to the Colosseum and Roman Forum, and maybe 15 minutes to the Trevi Fountain. If you're after a relaxing holiday I'd stay somewhere further out but for our purposes it fit the bill.
This small hotel has all you need for a stay in Rome: central location just 5 minutes walk from the Termini and 20 minutes walk down Via Cavour to the Coliseum and Forum areas; free and fast wifi; free breakfast; spotlessly clean facilities; lots of character; and helpful pleasant staff. My room was a single but was spacious with a comfy bed, a desk and modern bathroom.
Arrived late Friday evening, front reception staff very welcoming and helpful. The hotel is central to main sites and 5 minute walk to the termini.....rooms are very clean, it does get hot in the rooms, you can leave your windows open, I had a room facing the back, which was very quiet. The only downside for me would be a lack of a variety of breakfast, don't get me wrong it was filling but would have liked sausages, fried egg on different days, also the shower it was powerful but the way the shower was situated made it harder to manoeuvre. The other downside was the bed, I couldn't get a descent nights sleep, this was due to continuous sitting on the mattress by previous guest which made the mattress slant but overall I would recommend this hotel I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Thank you to all staff at reception and the breakfast room for making us feel welcomed
I came to the hotel with a group of classmates for a study trip, please consider the pictures provided online look much better than what is actually offered. The breakfast is mostly fat food, the only fresh things are the fruit bowl with apples, kiwis and mandarines (which I suppose is not something that anyone craves at breakfast) there are boiled eggs, as well as scrambled. There are mainly sugary cereals, breads, sweet bread and mostly fattening carbs that might give a peek of energy for little time. The service in the breakfast is almost abscent, I actually never got any attention from any server. The wifi in the rooms doesn´t work at times, in two days (almost 3) they didn´t change our towels even if in the second day we left them on the floor, by the third day I had to go to frontdesk and ask for more towels. They don´t change the bed sheets which is very disgusting...who knows who has slept there before you. Not even the trash was taken away and the room just seemed to get the bed done and really that was it. Terrible cleaning, abscent service, bad breakfast and at least the location it centered to the main attractions and next to the train station.
300 meters northwest from Roma Termini, along a bit quieter street so no bad traffic. Clean, light, elegant interiors. Friendly staff speaks good English. My room had easy-to-find electric plugs on the desk to charge mobile phone and laptop; my friend did not find any plugs suitable for Scandinavian devices (finally she used the ones in bathroom). Breaking wifi was a common topic discussed at breakfast. We were part of a medium-sized group and happened to be there at the same time with two large high school groups. So breakfast room was crowded at certain times. The staff did what they could to help this situation, including eagerly cleaning tables, so be sure to indicate whether you are leaving or just going for another glass of juice.
