The Hotel Monte Cenci is Bellissimo! The hotel is wonderfully situated to many of Rome’s highlighted sights. And to be able to walk within minutes to beautiful Trastevere is just wonderful. The front desk staff is very helpful but I need to point out Simone, who truly went out of his way to make our week stay delightful. We had mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary on this trip and we greeted with a lovely welcome card and a delightful towel arrangement. Grazie Mille to The Hotel Monte Cenci and Arrivederci!

This was our second stay at Hotel Monte Cenci, and once again we had a wonderful experience. The location is perfect — we could easily walk to many of Rome’s main attractions, making it easy and enjoyable to explore the city. What makes this small hotel truly special is the human touch. The staff are warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful, and Paolo, the owner, made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. His friendly presence and care for his guests create a warm and welcoming atmosphere that is hard to find and we truly appreciated it. The hotel is in a beautiful old building with a lot of character, but inside it has been thoughtfully renovated and is extremely comfortable and very well maintained. It is a wonderful blend of historic charm and modern comfort. We were so happy to return to Hotel Monte Cenci and hope to be back again. It is a special place with a perfect location, lovely people, and the kind of hospitality that makes you feel at home in Rome.

What a great find! This is a great location just off the Tiber River. The hotel is lovely with a rooftop bar. The staff were so welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was a surprise as we did not know it was included! We met the owner, he was so nice and even sent us for drinks on the house. It was the end to a 15 day trip and truly the best!
