We were very surprised by the small size of the rooms in this hotel, as well as the very small size of the shower. We expected smaller rooms because we were in Europe and not the US. However, these were very very small. One could barely move in the shower. But the room was very clean. Also, the breakfast was very sad… Only sweets and no proteins. The one benefit to this hotel was its location.

Like the name it is a petit hotel. But comfortable enough. My room has a balcony seeing Santa Maria Maggiore. Very near to Roma Termini and underground at Repubblica avenue. You can also walk to Piazza Venezia, 1,2 km from the hotel. Enjoy the stay.

The hotel is nothing as they show in pictures. It is very small, with pretty regular service. The breakfast they offer is awful, and they didn’t change de sheets very often. But it is well located though. Not coming again.

Stayed here inbetween hostels on a 3 month Europe trip- book a hostel you’re better off. Walls smelt like mold and smoke. Beds were hard and so were the pillows. Often hot water wouldn’t work in shower. It’s not a bad location.

My girlfriend and I just had 4 nights here and would highly recommend it based upon its location and the room with balcony. The room is basic, but nice, the staff were very welcoming and helpful too. The air con didn't work but the breeze was more than enough to keep the room cool. We found it hard to leave the balcony before leaving for dinner because it was so relaxing and nice having a drink on the balcony. We will definitely be staying here when we return!

I am going to start by saying that the staff here were very helpful. I had left my flight tickets at the hotel - they actually called me to let me know and scanned and emailed me all my documents. It was very nice of them to do that. Location: pretty good. It was walking distance from all the main attractions and very close to the train station. Cleanliness: not clean. My bed sheets had stains, the bathroom smelled like urine. I actually took a shower with my flip flops, afraid to catch something. I felt like I was in a dusty, old room. I was very disappointed, I did feel as if the pictures on trip advisor were deceiving. The room: we were two couples and the room with a pull out bed and double bed, was very tight. A tiny little room, not meant for 4 people. The mattress was hard and uncomfortable. Luckily there was A/C. The room was found on the floor above reception. This should not be considered a hotel - it is more like a bed and breakfast. I would not go back to this hotel and I do not recommend this hotel.

Nice room, great, I mean GREAT location, right next to the main bus/train temini. Lovely staff, very helpful, bed a little non-wide, had to push them together to stop the feeling of falling off edge. :)

Ideal location for sight seeing, restaurants and shopping. The rooms are located on the second floor with continental breakfast on the fourth floor. Very close to the Metro, Taxi Rank and Hop on Hop off Bus station so getting around isn't a problem. Really good Irish Bar just around the corner 'The Flann'. Room is quite small with an annoying step to the small shower room. The room was cleaned every day with towels provided. Ideal for a short break if you don't want to spend time in the hotel. Good value for your money.

We had stayed here for 3 nights during the New Year. The reception located on the 2nd floor with a small lobby. Our room located on the same level with the reception. The room was very small and bad smell. I'm not sure what housekeeping sprayed into the room. There was no any blanket provided in our room. The hotel used bed cover as a blanket. Not enough for cold weather in the winter and the bed cover full of dust. This place is far away from being a real hotel. In my country call this "Guest House". I won't come back again.

Le Petit is ideally situated for those who like to stroll around and find their own way to the main tourist sites. Any further out and it would have been a case of checking out the taxis or the metro. The local area has plenty of hotels, coffee bars, shopping and gelato bars !!. Our room had a balcony overlooking the street, small which is what I would expect in a building of this age, but this fitted with the atmosphere of a weekend in Rome. With the continental breakfast this hotel proved to be a great package ..
