The hotel is not what I was expected, it wasn't a proper hotel, just a building with more hotels inside, or to be fair like hostel. The room is not like in the pictures, is poor, no space to move there, old old old pillows and no duvet, only a old blanket, no internet connection, poor breakfast. The staff was ok, friendly and always there in the small reception, at least 3 ppl all the time. If you go only to sleep there, not to relax or to have a tea in your room, is ok, otherwise no.

Definitely not recommend this place. Very dirty rooms. There is basically didn’t have a proper bedding just only a plaid. It was the most terrible and worst experience we’ve ever had. Staff is absolutely unprepared and unprofessional. You won’t feel welcomed at all.Completely waste of money and the worst experince you can have. TOURIST TRAP. Have look below I’ve got some Pictures about their breakfast:

Firstly, the hotel is situated in a large apartment with other hotels within in it. It would better be described as a hostel. The entrance is on the first floor in which there is a 1912 titanic style lift that could only fit one person in. The staff were very nonchalant and only really concerned with their phones. Once checked in we were shocked at what we were faced with . There was a painting of a little girl on the wall which was the creepiest thing ever. The room stank of feces the whole time as though it hadn't been cleaned. The area in which it is situated is disgusting filled with graffiti and not a safe neighbourhood. The whole time we were there we felt very scared and violated that Barrhead travel allowed two teenage girls to stay in such a dodgy, deplorable, dump. We were told we were allowed to use the tv however ours didn't work and we asked reception to help and his response was to hand me two remote controls from other rooms which obviously weren't going to work. We weren't expecting much as it was rather cheap but this isn't acceptable at all. The bed felt like I was sleeping on a fence. Avoid this place like the plague.

My family and I stayed here in October of last year and we totally enjoyed that. The location is really convenient, closed to the station. Prices were reasonable, rooms were pretty big, breakfast had a wide range of food, nice cakes. We did not have any problems concerning the sleep. Service and staff were amazing, i would recommend it!

We have just got back from a week stay at the Hotel Gabriella and I dont know whats worse, the breakfast which included stale cereal and bread rolls and 1 hot drink (if you have already booked here, don't pay the ridiculous price of €10 euro each for breakfast, go down the road slightly to the Yellow Bar, amazing breakfast and half the price). The staff who worked the morning not only are they ill mannered but they have to be some of the laziest staff I've ever seen, they can be found in the guest lobby, on their phones, or slouching around the reception desk. The man who worked the early evening was the only one who seemed the realise he was at work because when it came to our early morning check out we found the man asleep in the guest lobby then told we couldn't wait for our transfer in there so had to wait outside. The area its located is awful, the streets are littered with rubbish whilst obviously brings the unwanted guests of rats and theres plenty of them. The room itself wasn't the worst but it was very basic, €20 for aircon in the room and no wifi unless in tiny lobby. The housekeeping wasn't good either, the only thing they done was made the bed, sheets werent changed the whole week we were there and im doubtful about the towels. All in all avoid this place, without a doubt the worst hotel we've stayed in.

Good location. Very very basic. No air con and no wifi in my room (2nd floor). After staying out late in the evening, returned about 2am, key did not work in door. No staff and main entrance door was locked. Luckily had friends staying with me so could stay with them otherwise had nowhere to go!!! Reception staff when confronted with this issue looked rather sheepish in his ruffled clothes, maybe been sleeping all night? Just shrugged his shoulders and said sorry? Not impressed at all. After this experience would NEVER recommend this hotel!

One should not choose this hotel. Breakfast is as cold as the staff. There is hardly anything to eat. Coffee is also not hot nor is the milk. Even bread is missing in the breakfast menu. Bathroom fittings are in deplorable WiFi in use internet one hastocome out in the small lobby area where only 6 people can sit....

Booked thru Thomas cook this is 2 star at best. Hotel basic but was advised by locals not to go out at night. Gangs on every corner eyeing us up. Asked tc to move us but rep who called abandoned us as they did not help us find another hotel as promised. We had to pay £400 extra to move to another hotel which we found ourselves. Tc have refused comp and we will never go near them again. Don't go

Room was clean but very small. Bathroom was clean'ish, but found hairs on toilet and in shower Very close (5min walk) to metro and also main station Termini. Near a busy road and could hear loud traffic all night long. It became extremely hot during the night to the point that i couldnt breathe, had to choose between not beeing able to breathe or opening the window and listening to even louder traffic. No kettle in room Free wifi with good connection Shower in bathroom was very poor quality and tiny. Hair dryer tube was broken, had to try and hold it together whilst trying to dry my hair. After using toilet the bathroom would let off a very horrid smell Staff nice and helpful Beds were awful. It was like sleeping on concrete, i kept waking up (when not being woken up by traffic) with dead arms due to uncomfortability, the pillow, reiterate Pillow, was also like a slab of concrete. I fet it was way over priced and definitely would not stay here again

Perfect location, close to central train & metro station. Ideal for short stay - rooms clean & functional , no frills. Breakfast included which was adequate with tea/coffee/croissants/toast/cheese & cold meats. Staff very helpful, particularly Alexandra who went out of his way to assist us with printing Boarding Passes. He was exceptional. All other staff were helpful & accomodating. Wifi only available around reception area.
